Try again, email them this time. It will probably go through to a different department.
I did get 30 refund, and all i did was email them. Called my partner he explained it would cost about 30 pound to upgrade it. To the equivalent N450, processor. See how you get on with that. Good luck.

Glad some people got bargains.

But very frustrating for those who missed out because people bought two to see what colour they wanted and then returned one to be sold at the higher price.

What phone number are you calling ? just need to check mum is calling the right one

We called the number on the packaging for the Tesco Direct helpline, not sure what I've done with it now tho! But we got £20 refunded so I'm very happy with that. I did get 3 options of either a goodwill gesture, a full refund on return or return this and purchase a different model instead. Their website still states the incorrect processor for the blue one.

Hi Thank you for that. I phoned up and spoke to a guy who was polite enough but not very forth coming. I had to do all the work and even had to mention the fact that some were being offered goodwill gestures. I felt guilty, dont know why . I was offered £15 for the red one i purchased. I find it strange how the amounts have differed from £15, £20, £25 to £30 :eek:. It would be much fairer if we all had the same amount.

Was I upset that I missed out on this deal? Of course not ( if you believe that, you will believe anything).. Just missed it by an hour or so.

Am I doubly upset that not only did you lot get one, but are getting about £20 refunded as well. (Through Gritted teeth ) No!

Do I get deep joy when I read yet another success story of (a) getting one or (b) getting loads-a-money refunded as well. No I b****y well don't. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Just joking. Well done all of you. :beer: I actually decided to go for the HP/Compaq since you lot had it away with the ACER stock!

Tip:- Look into doubling the RAM with your refunds, if you can. Makes a lot of difference, I am told.
