Battery recal for OSF
1.Connect the phone to the charger with the phone powered on, and allow the phone to charge until the notification LED is green, indicating the device is fully charged.
2.Disconnect the phone from the charger, and power it off.
3.Reconnect the phone to the charger with the phone powered off, and allow the phone to charge until the notification LED is green.
4.Disconnect the phone from the charger and power it on.
5.Once the phone is powered completely on, power it off again and reconnect it to the charger until the notification LED is green.
6. Disconnect the phone, power it on holding the volume key button down to boot into Clockwork Recovery.
7. Now the phone has been fully charged, use Clockwork to wipe the battery stats. Then reboot for the final time.
8. Process complete.
Having only been into clockwork once, will it be obvious where 'battery stats' are, how would i wipe them when i found them and finally how do I safely boot out of clockwork. Thanks
It's in the advanced options of clockwork. Im assuming you know how to enter clockwork?0 -
Ive assumed im in clockwork when I power up and hold down volume control? In saying I have only been in once, hat was when I installed ROM and followed line by line Beggins instructions on orangesanfrancisco website0

Yep that's it.0

Or turn off the data connection when you are not using it. That way my battery useage has decreased by 40% in a day.

Oooh- what were the tips? am thinking (and saving!) for the SF and worry about the battery, anything that can be done to chop down wasted power has got to be worth looking in to.0 -
It's called bump charging.
- Plug phone in 'till 'fully' charged
- Unplug phone
- Power phone off
- Plug phone back in and marvel as it will charge some more
- Boot into recovery and wipe battery stats
- Reboot phone

Jenniewb. If you go to first post in this thread, I asked a lot of newbie questions about the OSF - most answered by Rusty. They should help when you get your phone. The MoDaCo website is very useful, where some people have done a lot of work, allowing me to have a great phone at a great price. Hope you like your phone when you get it.0
