Brilliant £20!
2 Days later Alton Towers write to me and say sorry the water park is closed!
Only reason I'm going!
Ring them then say call lastminute.com
they say hard lines!
I quote consumer protection act 1987 to them!

HI ALL - YES THERE IS ENTERTAINMENT - ON FRIDAY NIGHT THERE WAS A DISCO MORE FOR KIDS BUT WE HAD FUN TOO ! ( ANY YES IT WAS FREE)
the hotel guide says that there should be a couple of hours entertainment by pirate pete & co every day ??????0 -
Checked the website again earlier as I was tempted to extend my stay for 2 nights, and the Alton Towers page wasn't working.
Just checked it, and they have made a few amendments. The one ive noticed is that check-in and check-out time have been altered to 15:00 check-in and 10:00 check out. As I also believe there is now a cancellation policy of 100% - which I don't believe was there before.
So you need to check your terms and conditions before you go. My confirmation email said check out at 11:00 - and I intend to stay in the room until then!!! lol.0 -

I would like to confirm that your hotel booking (Order Number XXXXXXXXX)
has been cancelled. The hotel has not charged you anything for
cancelling the booking. However, you would be charged 20.00 GBP
administration fee by lastminute.comIn the event that you would like to cancel or amend your hotel booking, it is your responsibility to notify lastminute.com verbally or in writing at least 48 hours prior to arrival date.
lastminute.com applies an administration charge fee of £20 per booking for any modifications, changes or cancellations to your reservation. This will be regardless of price of your reservation.0 -
