I ran Barums (Bravuris 2's) On my BMW for 18,000 miles/ 2 years. They handled really nicely and wore well considering it was a heavy and powerful car. (Bought it with about 5mm on, sold the car and they still had 3mm on them)
I've recommended them to others since who have also been happy having fitted them.

They are a budget brand of Continental, before anyone starts up with "no name tat".
I'm a man who will spend well over the odds on tyres for performance cars because there clearly is a difference and wear is not a concern for me, grip is. Barums are very good tyres and offer good value for money IMO.
  • Avon tyres ( now owned by Cooper, USA) are now made in the Phillipines. no longer made in UK...it's a disgrace.

Alright Trev, calm down, it's a four year old thread. Have a mince pie and enjoy the day. Love it! One post in six years of membership and you go for this one. I can only guess that your kids have had you up early and you are already losing the plot.

So who is responsible for this disgrace?

Cooper, for buying the company from a willing seller?

The British owners, for selling it, presumably in the best interests of the shareholders?

Cooper, for moving production overseas to reduce costs?

The British workers, for demanding uncompetitive wages?

The Filipinos, for accepting lower wages?
