Maybe im changin gthe subject alittle, ad sorry if it effects you.

I was wondering how much will it cost if i got sky sports 1 and 2 maybe 3 n the rest of them, i want to know the hceapest price, my sky is de actuvated so i got to activate again. I dont wanna pay more than £20 a month. I heard theres a footbal offer where sky sports comes on during the football season then goes off during summer, this is one way of saving money. Not sure on that so please elaborate.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!

I had used the "I want to cancel" ruse twice in the past 6 months and got my Sky Movie World package at half price for 3 months each time.

This time when I phoned, a week or so ago, saying that I wanted to cancel, the lady said, I see you've already had three months at half price, which I couldn't deny, so she then offered me the Sky Movie package (normally £36, I think) for £27/month for 12 Months !! Sounded like a good deal to me, so I took her up on the offer.

It will be interesting to see, if Sky puts their prices up sometime this year, if I am left on this £27/month special deal. Anyway, I am happy with this deal, and by the end of this 12 months deal, I will not have paid anywhere near full price for my Sky for the past 18 months.

If SKy put their prices up again this year i will be telling them where to shove it!!! We have had it less than 2 years and there has been around 3 (i think) price increases since then. All for the same shows over and over again!!!

I was thinking of getting SKY+ but I was wondering if NTL could offer the same things cheaper, anybody know what the comparisons are?. I already have SKY basic package which has increased twice in the 8 months I have had it!Would it be cheaper still to just buy a Freeview box??????????
    You live..You learn.:)
  • Have just rang sky and told them I was considering changing to cable.Spoke to a nice lady who offered me the full package for 34 quid instead of nearly 45 quid for 12 months. RESULT. Thanks for the advice

OK, clearly you are all talking to the right people. The woman I spoke to has assured me there are no offers at the moment at all.

Also - this is clearly office hours and she was in India.

Also, as I pay £46 per month for something that doesn't work, I have a letter from Sky assuring me that because I don't pay for the Sky+ features, there's nothing they can do.

I think I pay for my channels, and movies, and beacuse we pay £10 multiroom, they reckon I don't pay anythig for the Sky+. Therefore, they seem to think the fact it DOESNT ACTUALLY WORK is not a problem.

    Help? Anyone?

I'm paying these money grabbing b@stards £46 a month for something that isn't working.
