just got off the phone with sky as our sky+ box threw a wobbly & deleted all saved programmes including locked ones & is now unable to record anything dialled the number the box gave for asssistance & got quoted a wait of 26 mins. then remembereed the 0800 number somewhere on here which got straight through.
ended up having to do the hidden full system reset to get it working again
happy i didnt waste any money on the call but still fed up with the fact that anything i record might not be there when i want to watch it0 -
Just saw that the price has now gone up to £89 for both existing and new customers. It will be interesting to see what they will offer on the phone if you ask to cancel>0

Has anyone phoned Sky to cancel and got 3 month's half price viewing and then rang them up at the end of the three month offer and got another offer?0

Just got 3 months half price (£18 instead of £36) for my current package, thanks to this post. Saving me £54 in total. Even told me to phone back before the 3 months are up, to see what they can offer then.0

Can anyone tell me. I am sure I have heard that if I cancel my Sky package, I am still able to see the free view channels on the equipment. Do Sky leave the box and dish at your house and is it true about getting the free channels? Thanks0

I have been with sky for 5 months, started off with the first 3 months being half price. Now that has ended I would like to try and get another deal and possibly sky+. Any ideas of how I should go about this?? things to mention and things not to mention?
