Sky has been driving me crazy just now and on Saturday and Sunday we had no picture at all!!! ARGHHH In general it keeps freezing and going green and then i have to un plug the box and re set it.

Soo just made hubby call and after him sticking to his guns for 24 minutes we got 3 months half price. Wooo hoooooo going to call back at the end of 3 months and still complain!!!!

No its not from what i read. I called one of the numbers on the saynoto0870 website and was firmly told they cant help so i had to call the 0870 number.

my second lot of half price family package came 2 an end.i rang the freefone number and 4 the first time ever got thru 2 an Indian call centre.bl**dy useless.the woman didn't have a clue wot i was saying.i got so fed up i asked 4 cancellations.started 2 speak 2 another indian woman and a scottish guy came on.thank god.no half price promotions on that package he told me and the promotions will be finishing soon.i'm now on a half price of 2 mixes.had no idea wot i was going 2 get and the one main channel i do watch isn't in the package.i'm cheesed off.ok i'm only paying £7.50 a month but it's rubbish.tempted 2 cancel and annoyed that sum people CAN still be offered wot i was on.

But you had it twice its better than not at all. This is the first time we have had half price and we have had Sky for nearly 2 years now.

Anyway when we called, we didnt press any numbers and just waited and it wasnt long til it was picked up. We got an Indian woman and she couldnt really understand our point so we were put thru to cancellations where we got a guy from Glasgow (fab to talk to a fellow Scot in a call centre at last!!!) and he was very helpful. I also took his name incase we have any further probs.

Rang sky a couple of weeks ago and we were offered 2 sky plus boxes for £49 each, they said they'd hold it until yesterday (payday!) then ring us.

They didn't ring so we tried a few times yesterday, queues over an hour so gave up.

Got through this morning and the offer has finished (which we knew it was til the end of November) but I explained that we'd spoken to a couple of people there before etc etc but there's no log of the calls so we couldn't have the offer, gutted!

Eventually she said we could have the one box offer for £49 with multiroom (better than nothing) and apparently if you wait a month you can call back and ask for a second plus box for £49, anyone know if this is true or just another blag to get me to sign up? I did agree to it anyway because I didn't want to miss out altogether.

I was lead to believe that the offer was extended until dec 6th but could be wrong,maybe worth a phone call

I called the sky freephone number the other night and got my package changed from £21/month to £15/month and 6 months at half price! So now I'm only paying £7.50/month. The nice Scottish lady even told me to write a reminder on my calendar to review the package at the end of month 5 to see whether I would be able to afford to go back to £15/month. Guess what?!!!! I think I'll still not be able to afford it, so I'll just ask nicely for another 6 months half price!!!!!!!!!
