Sky Discount For Existing Customers

Hey all. We've got Sky+ with multi-room and am curious to know if anyone has this but has upgraded the multi-room to Sky+ too, would be pretty cool to have Sky+ in my room. Cheers all!

Just phoned to cancel my package and have been given the full sports and movies package for half price for 3 months. Well pleased.

they give you a special offer when they have to tied in for 12 months ?

That's why I cancelled my 50% off and reduced it to 20% off for 12 months. You can't have everything.

I did this 3 months ago and got top package for half price.I was told to call back when time up to see what they could offer me.Rang today and they won't offer me anything else, they are quite happy for me to cancel!!

Just wondered if anyone could help me. We are at the end of our contract with Sky, told them we couldn't afford it and would they do 3 months half price? Lady on phone said we needed a promotional code from a mailing?
Has anybody got a code please? I can't seem to find one anywhere.

When we rang to complain about price increases they said there was nothing we could do as tied in for 12 months (with Sky+). They weren't willing to do us any deals as they know we're stuck with them!

My husband phoned today to cancel and was not offered any deals so we will be cut off at the beginning of December as they said that we had to give a months notice. We will also still be in credit with them after they cut us off so how does that work? We have had deals all year so I am not too happy at this outcome.

Just phoned though to cancel and was offered 20% off for 12 months on package price and multiroom plus sky + for a one off fee of £49.00. Hubby is over the moon. We phoned the number on the back of the sky card and chose option 3 to cancel. They offer the best deals it seam.

I am so peeved with Sky.

I just spent about an hour trying to get the £49 deal with no multiroom but got as far as £65 with no multiroom and they wouldn't budge.... I told them I was going to cancel as they wouldn't offer me the lower deal ( I have a tv with built in freeview and my existing sky box keeps switching off at the most unconvenient point in a programme ) and they still insisted they couldn't offer me it for £49 - there is no such deal in existence apparently so all the people on here who got it must be liars ! :mad: They seemed happy to sacrifice £500 in revenue for a £16 outlay. I said I would be only happy to pay the £65 cost if they did me a deal on my package - again no go.

Ok So I told them I wanted to cancel and they then offered me half price package for the next three months - I know I should be happy with that but I wanted the sky + box for £49 deal. Feel like going home and ripping down the dish with my bare hands.

Any suggestions on how I can proceed - I am a woman on a mission now !
