Anyone know if there is a way to possibly upgrade to HD with the cancellation threat?
Im annoyed that I bought a TV in Currys 5 weeks ago and didnt know I could then upgrade to HD for £199 rather than £299. I went back into Curry's to ask can they do it belatedly and they said no.
They CAN still offer you this. They get £30 from $ky just for doing this and the fact that you "have" to buy a certain tv etc is just to get Curries their business.
Get back to the store and speak to a manager ...if not wrote to Curries Head office telling them what a wonderful company they are and how you feel really let down by their service...this time.Onwards and Upwards0 -
I phoned yesterday to downgrade my full package. Told themI couldnt affford the mivies and the sports and wanted them taken off. Didnt get passed to anyone, but did get an immediate offer of £30 p/m for 3 months for the full pack.0

I just reduced my SKY package from £21.50/month to £9/month for SIX months ... (then I'll go for a Sky FreeSat card for £20, which gives Freeview plus a few extra freebies, and uses the existing dish & digibox, which is mine-for-free after the initial promo-period)
Where do you get the Freesat card from for £20? Sky direct?
Also does anyone know if I cancel Sky would I still have to pay £10 per month to keep Sky+?0 -
just called up the freephone number for sky to cancel my package, got told to write a letter to cancel the whole package. Broadband (which has never worked and was cancelled last month, but still has not been cancelled!!) and sky tv0

I have cancelled mine several times with them without writing a letter. Just had to give 30 day's notice.0 -

Just tried to play the old cancellation card - put through to the cancellations dept, not a sniff of any discounted deals. I politely backed out and will try again in a month or so.

I want to downgrade my sky package
I did this twice before the first time i was told it was too late to do it this month, it was about a week before direct debit went out and would have to call back next month
The last time they said I had just done it in time
How long before your direct debit comes out do you have to downgrade and can they not just refund you soime if they have already took the money out of your account
I want to go down to the £15 package as I dont watch the rest and have been on Sky Movies for about a year and am wasting £37 a monthNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0
