Just a quick message, I am not sure if it has been posted already.
I have just bought a SKY Navigator so I can have a remote up and downstairs, but it seems the setup instructions work for Sky remotes too.
If you wish to control your Sky+ with your old digibox control follow these instructions
Press 'TV'
Press and hold 'Select' and Yellow until the red light flashes twice.
Press 1
Press 'Select'
Your Digibox remote should now control Sky+
To revert to a normal digibox remote use '0' instead of '1'
Hope this is of help to someone, it works with my remote but I am guessing it will only work with remotes produced after Sky+0 -
ok it was going so well..... the engineer rang at 8.00 this morning to say he would be with me within th ehour - i asked him if he knoew where he was going yeah....just off the birmingham road...the address i left two years ago and im now 70 miles away. Aparently they do it as a moving home offer and the details had been put in wrong. Oh well another appointment for next Sunday and another three months half price.0

Thanks to all involved in bringing this offer into the public domain!
Like most established Sky customers I was really cheesed off at the promotional offers always being geared to winning new customers. It's made a nice change to be offered a deal that looks good value for money.
If there's anyone out there still wondering if it's worth the hassle, I'd say "go for it". The lady in the cancellations dept. I spoke to was more than helpful and I didn't even have to fib and say I was thinking off cancelling! (She even made up an excuse to go on my request form for "reason for call") I just asked outright for the £49 refurbished SkyBox deal and she arranged installation for Wednesday. No mention of the multi-room deal at all.
I know that Sky are actually making more money out of me, but it still feels like one small victory for the consumer!"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -

Just phoned up and told them i wanted to cancel, fed up of hearing about this £49 re-furb offer without multiroom. I've phoned 3 times before kept getting told offer is not for sky+ alone but only with multiroom. I said only have 1 tv (as i did before). Went off too speak to supervisor and they said offer was closed but I could have it
Engineer coming out tomorrow - fantastic.
Thanks for everyone who said keep trying!0 -
