Phoned up sky to cancel [said it was all repeats] got a very nasty woman so now I AM CANCELLED

Husband is furious as I told him they wouldn't take the cancellation!!

Do I now phone up to get it back on?????

If you can put up with no sky for 2/3 weeks they will phone you with an offer. We did and they offered us the full package for half price for 3 months. Otherwise just phone up again and say you have changed your mind.

    Keep trying!
I ended up phoning up 4 times till I finally got someone who admitted there was such an offer available without the multi-room tie-in.

We paid for it via credit card, he didn't mention direct debit but that's not to say you can't pay for it that way. I assume you mean the £49 offer?

I would just like to THANK everyone who has posted on this thread and continually 'bumped' it up on the SBDD board. It's finally motivated me to take the leap.

I've been 'bribed' by Sky's half price offer since last August (didn't need that much arm twisting, honestly! - they just kept renewing the offer!) and have just made the bold move to finally CANCEL my subscription.

I feel strangely liberated, and £20.50 per month better off. Maybe not a big amount in the scheme of things, but it's another £240 per year saved and add that to the rest of the money that I've saved/made since joining this site and I am seriously talking thousands ;)

So thankyou to you all :T

Surely you have to give a month notice to cancel and therefore can uncancel anytime within the month?
