Sky Discount For Existing Customers

Just phoned sky,

They Do Not seem too interested in keeping their customers, very surprising:eek:

They will offer some customers offers and Not others.

I had the 3month world pckge deal a little while ago, and All I can Say is that it was More Hassle than it was worth,
an extension of the world pckge deal, was offerd but Not recorded on my account :cool:

I suppose cant complain too much got 50 credit, But really I didnt need to spend 20min on the phone everytime i rang sky (0870) explaining what had happend
and then not getting anything resolved.. :mad:

Alot of Snotty customer service reps and Bad attitudes. What happend to Customer CARE???

Am I being to harsh??

I have family package and phoned up today and asked for upgrade to full sky world for 2 MONTHS ONLY.
Normal cost is £41 per month, not a bad little saving, as they say "everything helps".
Cant wait for the match tomorrow..

Your 0800 number for contacting sky works a treat, have used it 4 times this week and you seem to get straight through every time, and most importantly you get a uk call center and not abroad.

Well done to the people who got the offer. Looks like I got the "Don't Care" customer services line.

I tried to get Sky + for £99 plus free install. However, after taking my bank details (and charging my credit card £99 for the box), they noticed that my account was used at a previous address, which it was. Not having sky for over 2 years and having a different address doesn't seam to matter.

They put me through to customer services who wanted to charge me the full £149 plus £60 for the install (£209 for a glorified video… errr, get stuffed). I did try to persuade them that £99 + £41p.m. is much better than £0, but they still weren't budging on the offer.

Never mind I’ll stick with NTL.

P.s. you may notice my post yesterday about this on the vent board. Didn't see this thread until just now.

Just spoke to Sky on the freefone number, would have been 15 mins at 0870 rates, and managed to get skysprorts world package for 3 months at half price £16.50 p/m. Simply said not too happy with the cost and was looking at other options ie NTL. Stayed very polite and it was a doddle. Reason for the longer call was chatting to the advisor about football!! Deal actually done in about 5mins.

I have had the offer twice, and rang up tonight to change. Pity I didnt read this therad again 1st as I had to use 0870 number very snotty woman on the 0207 number and an even snottier woman when I changed from full package. Said I could get a better deal with Telewest so she said "well go ahead then we are the most popular provider with the best offering and ALL of our customers are very happy with us and its only £41 per month with us!!! I said they showed too many repeats and she said they show over 450 films per week, I told her that is no good to someone who works full time and needs to sleep at night and she said that wasnt her fault!!" Going with basic package for now until I get Telewest installed!! Even my dad is changing and he has always been Sky's most loyal customer but is fed up with them.

Just got a promotion addressed to me through the post offering me a half price upgrade offer for 2 months.

Im on the £19.50 package and over xmas I had 3 months for £30.00 full package.

No codes to quote just ring 08702 42 66 05 to be instantly upgraded to Sky world with family pack for 2 months price £30.25 per month. Im gonna wait a while as we dont watch alot over easter & summer so Ill see what comes through later in the year.
