I've been with sky less than 12 months, will I be able to call up and ask for a discount ?
I am interested in getting sky +
so far they have said it would be £199 for the box then £60 installation or £149 for the box then £10 a month for sky multiroom and I'd have to stay subscribed for 12 months on the multiroom. I don't really need sky multiroom as I live alone.
My friend is signing up to sky as a new customer this month and he's getting a sky + box, a sky box and installation for £99 !
Any ideas anyone ?0 -
Almond, becareful though how do you pay ???. If you are to do it in your maiden name, is your payment going to come out of bank account that is in your married name. :-* As they are going to spot this don't you think
Its just a idea for you to think about.
Hope you find this helpful. Pat.0 -

hi
you might have to wait till your 12 months are up because at the moment they know they don't have to offer anything for the obvious reason.Honesty is the best policy doesn't matter which web site
you are on!
if i had known then what i know now!
a bargain is only a bargain if you really need it!0 -
Been looking to trim our outgoings due to overspending at xmas, so decided one way was to ditch Sky. I have been reading this post and did wonder if they would offer me anything when I called to cancel.
We have sky + and multiroom, and are with Sky talk, over £50 per month, but there was no offer of a half price subscription. They seemed happy to cancel both my Sky and my Sky Talk. They half heartedly tried to get me down to the £13.50 per month package, but no real hard sell on their part.
I think it could be due to the fact that I have been with Sky since '99 and they probably think I will go back once I am flush again. Ah well, bye Rupert!
Cheers
