However, I have asked 3 women and 3 men today to explain to me the offside rule. Only 1 of the men got it vastly wrong and the women looked at me like I was mental.
Unfortunately in my small piece of research, turns out they were right.:D

Doesn't that say more about the type of women that you know?0 -
As was stated on the news this morning, she did get the off side rule right and the decision she made was the correct one- END OF!You live..You learn.:)0

Sian Massey has withdrawn herself from the game she was officiating tonight.
That's a pity but I suppose she thought that people should be concentrating on the game and with all the brouhaha she might be a distraction so it's quite a considerate action on her part. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
She done a very good job in the game, Andy Gray is just a moron he couldn't run the length of himself nevermind up and down the pitch.

My wife told me that Andy Gray had been sacked this afternoon. I didn't even know we had Sky in the kitchen
I think it's all been blown a little out of proportion as Sian Massey will get comments and songs (in jest and a bit of banter) aimed at her in every game she takes part in and i'm sure it'll be water off a ducks back to her. Having said that though Sian Massey is good at her job and she shouldn't have to take insults like that especially from people in the media.
I'm sure they have slagged off all sorts of people in the past though such as referees but because they're male nothing will get said about it.If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00 -
Rumours have it that after Gray started his pursuance of suing the NOTW Mr Murdoch was waiting for something like this to sack him from sky.. a"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

A sad day for freedom.
The thought police have won, Freddie shall now retire from this forum, to some this will be good.
I shall now watch again the first few minutes of the film 'The Sting' and wonder if I should complain to ITV for showing this last week.0 -

Conspiracy theorists are having a field day trying to piece together the extraordinary chain of events in which Andy Gray has became embroiled.
Many of those who regularly see him on their TV screens will be unaware that the 55-year-old pundit for Sky Sports (owned by BSkyB) is currently embroiled in a legal battle with the News Of The World (owned by News International)."0
