Star, Mothercare do plain tops too, as do Jojo Maman Bebe.
Kerri, I'm trying to get better at baking for baby too! Been making cakes this week as I want to be able to make my LO's birthday cakes and for them to be edible!I've always been an enthusiastic, but not terrible successful baker but I think I'm slowly improving.
OH set up our travel system yesterday, it's gorgeous!Well impressed that the colour pack even includes a little insert for a car seat too so it matches!

Hooray for team Pink Calien! Is it crazy that I'm thinking there are too many team pinks now and you're all taking up the girl quota, thus reducing my chances of being pink?! As much as I'd love a son just as much as a daughter, I can't help but secretly wish that we're having a girl.
OH is aware that if it's a boy we'll definitely try for #2, but if it's a girl I may decide I'm happy with one, so he's wishing for a boy!
Anyhoo, I probably won't get on again until after my holiday so have a good 2 weeks ladies, hope scans and appointments go well and babies start kicking and moving for ladies who are still waiting for it! I'm hoping that by the time I get back I'll be feeling kicks and will have a more pronounced bump (that's all baby and not holiday weight!)Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Oh wow birdie, I'll be on the big girl thread when you return! Scary!!! Have a wonderful holibobs.
22w+1 and the hunger has kicked in, I'm starving today. I've had banana loaf, yoghurt, an entire tin of spaghetti on toast, going to go have another yoghurt and some biccies in a second. I've been waiting for my entire pregnancy to get hungry. Going to have to remember to only eat healthily though or I'll pile on the lbs eep.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hello ladies.
Been maternity wear shopping with my Mum today which was lovely (though I'm now pooped)! Didn't find anything I liked or that fit well in Debenhams or New Look. Got two t-shirts, tights and a non-maternity loose knit jumper from H&M, and jeans, jeggings, a work dress and fun Mr Bump t-shirt in Mothercare. Nice lunch with Mum too.
Looking in the mirrror at my bump and hanging out in mothercare made it all feel very real and had a little happy blub when I got home.
Day out tomorrow with hubby and in-laws (and now have a choice of outfits!) so will take it easy this evening and bed early. On Monday I've got a lunch date with a colleague who is expecting too, so that will be nice to catch up and compare notes.
Hope you are all enjoying the weekend xfran-o0 -
I thought I'd come on this thread and say 'Hi'. I've just moved up from the less than 12 weeks thread and had my scan a few days ago. My EDD got moved up 4 days, so it's now 3rd March. So I think that makes me 13+5 today, and still waiting for the nausea and fatigue to go. I have my first midwife appointment in the morning, I know most of you would have had this before the scan but London seems to be slower.
We're off on holiday on Wednesday but my shorts and cropped jeans don't fit anymore. I looked in the shops today but they only have autumn clothes in now. Thankfully my summer skirts seem to fit me still. I'm a bit worried about whether I'll enjoy the holiday or if I'll be too tired to sight see and worried about finding food I'll want to eat. Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Welcome kynthia. Hope you enjoy your holiday, just try I relax and make sure you have a biccie for the nausea.
Looked round cossham birth centre today, it's lovely and we want baby to be born there. Just need approval from the consultant now, fingers crossedDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
