Ahhh such lovely bump photos! I definitely just look fat at this stage! :o I was erring on the side of podge anyway and it just seems to be poking out a little more every day, can't wait for it to turn into a proper bump! :)

I agree with the sexing that nothing is definite until it is born! A guy at work was 'definitely' having a boy and a girl came out! ;) Then there was the friend-of-a-friend who had twins but they only ever picked up one baby on the scans!

I have no idea what to do about maternity leave yet, OH wants me work work pretty much up until my due date since we can't afford for me to take much longer than 6 months off so it makes sense to have as long as possible after the baby rather than before (I work in the private sector and maternity leave is the absolute minimum they can get away with, so very tight! Jealous of the NHS employees!) but I just don't know. I don't work in a physically demanding job but I think I'd rather spend the last couple of weeks at home. Will have to save my annual leave and tag it onto the start of maternity to give me some more time off. :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I've managed to rearrange the appt (again lol) so my partner can be there for it.

My dad and his girlfriend, who is like a mum to me, offered to come if I couldn't change it :heartsmil

lovely bump pictures! i have a sortof bump, but it's just bloat pushing all my fat forward, not pretty!

Glad you got it changed Calien, although a lovely offer from your dad and his girlfriend :)

A woman at work was told she was having a boy and ended up with a girl. and I'm not pleased that people keep teasing me about having a hidden twin lol

After weeing in a bottle cos i was worried they'd have no sample pots i was given three! so i went into the toilets and decanted. ahh pregnancy, dignified from beginning to end lol at least i had time for a cheeky starbucks though :)

We're all ready to exchange on our house but the there's still enquiries to be done further up the chain apparently so we'll just have to be patient, not a quality me or DH possess in great quantities!

Loving the bump photos! I just look like a blob!

Ah noo don't say about gender scans being wrong! I've started buying girls clothes!! Although I do understand they can't be 100% accurate. I think we are going back for another scan as DH really wants to see baby in 4D when we are further along as this will probably be our last baby.

LOL Team Lowe at decanting samples! Pregnancy is very glamorous!

Re: Movements I am sure I felt movements really early this time, at roughly 8-10 weeks. People kept saying it was wind/ etc but everytime I had a scan I could tell baby was wriggling. Movements have got stronger and stronger, I can now feel when she's kicking/ wriggling and has hiccups.

I am prone to them and you can get a peasant from the dr. I was told during pregnancy that its more common but easily treated x

Thanks Sharon, I made the mistake of googling and worried myself! Thankfully I haven't had any symptoms but it was a test result from when I was admitted x

What a fab bargain! We had 2 bouncers for my son (one for home and one for grannies) they were worth every penny (even if I paid quite a bit more than that...) my son had colic and they really helped to soothe him and I loved watching him kicking his little legs trying to throw himself out of it LOL!

    Welcome Birdie *waves*

Almost 23 weeks, just over a week until viability :)

Went to collect the bouncer yesterday; it was a bargain! It's fab!

I have a slight B shaped bump that's now getting quite large! The B is disappearing though and becoming more D shaped. It's like my belly button is clinging on for dear life!

Has anyone ever had a 3d/4d scan? I am looking at going for one at around 30 weeks. Just want opinions/recommendations.

23 weeks today- 1 week until viability and only 1 more week on this thread before I have to move to the 'big' OMG 'I really AM pregnant' thread!

My last day on the thread, 24 weeks tomorrow, if no one minds I might pop in now and again. It's scary being on the big bump thread means the baby is closer to coming out and then I'll have 2 under 2 years old to look after!!

I love the bump pctures! Do you feel like yours grows as the day goes?
I definitely look 'proper' pregnant now at 19 weeks but still very self-conscious...
It's good to read from everyone, anyone's got scans coming soon?
    Take care!

I had a 3d/4d scan at 16 weeks it was great :) we will probably go back at 26-28 weeks as you can see more details like features/ expressions etc. We didn't last time around and I regretted it x

Well we've just picked up the keys for the new house, I've just spent over £20 on cleaning products for this house. I'm already planning which colours to paint each room :D The landlord doesn't mind whether we paint or not and looking at his attempt at painting we're definitely going to have to do something, there's a patch of cream in the middle of biscuit brown in the living room!!!

OH has been particularly irritable today, I know I have a short temper because I have flu/cold/thing but he could cut me some slack. Ended up taking car keys off him at a petrol station and driving us the rest of the way for fear of him crashing due to his stressy mood.

3d scans - we had a 3D glimpse last week and I loved it, she looked like a baby dinosaur and definitely has 5 fingers on each hand. It was sooo cute and I'm tempted to go back when we can see more at 26-28 weeks.

People leaving us makes me jumpy, I'm not far behind those people eep halfway through this thread category already!!!
