The second person at work has asked me if my baby was planned! Seriously, what is wrong with people?! I said to him 'Why do people ask me that? I'm married, I'm in my late 20's, it's not like I had a one night stand and the condom broke!' :p At what stage of life is it expected that someone would have a planned pregnancy?!

I know what you mean. Can't tell you how many people asked me if it was planned. We have been together nearly 7 years, engaged, own house, cats etc.

TBF our little jellybean wasn't planned lol. Always fun to answer saying, nah it wasn't planned. The quick flash of shock/ disaproval on some people's faces is quite amusing sometimes :D

I think people run out of questions to ask, they want to look interested but if someone's already said 'when are you due' there's not much left. I've not been asked but that's mainly because people are having more fun making jokes about there being something in the water as my colleague is pregnant lol

Urine sample came back normal, which is good, I just wanted to make sure as last time I had no idea and I got made paranoid by the internet telling me it wasn't good to have UTIs during pregnancy.

DH is buying a scooter tomorrow, and I think I'm going to go with him like a mug. He was out with friends last night and is on a works do today/tonight so at least if I go with I'll get to spend some time with him as once he's got it I doubt he'll be in the house very much lol

Fell asleep last night at 7:30 cos I'm rock and roll. since just before the BFP I've been waking up between 5 and 6 without fail and generally once during the night for a wee. I think my body is preparing me for something...

Had a mare this am as my stomach went almost flat and I've had what looks more than an almost 4 month bump for weeks. I've read it's the fact you stop being as bloated or the baby can go towards the spine but still worried. I'm still v sick etc so dont think it's something to worry about.

Every person who knows I am pregnant has asked that! I do tell everyone it was a surprise as I think its none of their business whether planned or not :P

Good luck with the move/ new house Kerri! xx

    Welcome Rummer :) x

Jemb: my bump constantly changes shape/ size. I had a massive bump in the early weeks and it seems to have calmed down now, I am measuring one week over but baby is the right size, at this stage they are quite small so have a lot more room to wriggle about in! x

We've just booked our second 4D scan for 28 weeks :) Can't wait. Not at all MSE but there isn't loads we need for baby and DH couldn't resist another peek :D

I am starting to think about decorating baby girl's nursery, I am not sure if its too early for if its a good idea leaving until I'm thirty something weeks, DH thinks I won't be up to it then but part of me still feels anxious

Have a lovely holiday Amy. I'm jealous!

TL - I can only lie and sleep on my left side but I feel your pain. Sharp movements have always given me grief.

Birdie - I think it's normal for people to ask if first babies are planned. Don't worry, no-one ever asks that after the 1st one :D

Got my scan and consultant appointment on Tuesday. Looking forward to it actually.

    Hi ladies, welcome Rummer,
Am 14+5 today, starting to feel like I've got a bump now which is nice. I thought I was still looking just a bit chubbier than usual til a colleague who hadn't seen my in a while asked "when did you start showing?" on Thursday! :D
Saw friends yesterday, picked up a big bag of maternity wear from a friend who had a boy this April. Will send her a thank you card and cheque as its mainly v good condition and I'm sure there are a few things I will wear loads (maternity onesie, oh yeah :j)
Bump feels quite tender and heavy now but feel like the tiredness is lifting a bit - managed full week at work and day out yesterday, got a little energy left to go to the shops today. Underwear shopping AGAIN, the maternity bras I bought a few weeks ago are just not comfortable so am going back to favourite underwired style for now but need more in my new size.
Don't think anyone asked us about whether baby was planned, a few people have made comments about it taking us a little while (baby will arrive around 3rd wedding anniversary) - laughed it off but if they knew we had a miscarriage I'm sure they wouldn't say that!
Hope you are all having a nice weekend x
