Thanks for the reassurance ladies, I'd be more worried if I thought it was just me feeling like this as then I'd feel like I had a reason to, bizarrely.
It has been getting me down and I know I won't be totally happy til I see baby again, I just keep getting DH to tell me how much he saw baby move at the scan and how strong flutter looked - I only got a few glimpses but he saw the whole battle between midwife and baby whilst she was trying to get it to move the right way lol
I loved the Cosatto Giggle as well Birdie but the reviews are worrying, although I'd try to find the most recent ones and go off them in the hope that the problems have been fixed now..
In a way it's a blessing only having a small car as there's only like 3 prams that will fit in it so it narrows down the choice and the Oyster is the cheapest. Don't know how I'd ever choose if I could have anything!

Afternoon ladies, we've moved and what a nightmare that was. We still don't have any hot water and I'm waiting for an engineer to come round...no hot water since Friday is baaad news and cold showers are horrid.
I've had a cold since Monday evening, which come Saturday turned into a chest infection. I rested up yesterday and it seems to finally be clearing thank goodness. Who gets a cold in the middle of summer?!?!
Absolutely love our new house and the cats are settled in well now too.
Little one has been wriggling around like never before, I even managed to get the MIL to have a feel of her kicking which shut her up about it being to soon, thank you very much! She's taken to winding my OH up about things we're disagreeing on, so I guess I need to keep an eye out for that. The other week it was about baby's surname being mine until we get married, this week it was about his bike living in the shed vs the kitchen. Must remember not to bite in front of her as then she goes telling him she's really worried about how much we argue!!! ARGH!!!!
Hope you're all well and hugs to those that need them xxDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Ahhh MILs, what would we do without them?! Mine used to (until I got wise to her!) wheedle little snippets of information/ secrets out of me that I'd then ask her not to repeat... just for her to bring up the minute she was alone with DH! Then there was the whole being stuck with her for 2 weeks for our wedding abroad where she spent every day trying to cause trouble between my Mum and I so that she'd be the 'favourite'. Manipulative old so-and-so!
I just know that she's going to be slagging off my side of the family to our LO in a constant stream of 'Your other granny's a horrible old woman, you don't like her, do you? You love ME most' etc... if I ever catch her doing it I'll go freaking mental!
Aside from the meddling MIL and lack of hot water, glad the move is done and you're happy in the house Kerri!
Going to definitely have to do more pram research... saw someone in town the other day with a Giggle and was so tempted to stop them for an on-the-spot review. Would that be weird?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Glad to hear you love your new home Kerri.
for no hot water, hope that gets sorted soon.
I've got my anomaly scan this afternoon, wish me luck!:grinheart It's Mrs Coupon now - saving and comping my way to a brighter future :grinheart0 -
Then once all this is over we have to find a baby carrier!
I have done loads of reading about this and spoken to baby wearing friends and have decided on a stretchy wrap for the first 4/6 moths and then I am going to use a Beco Gemini. The Ergo and Manduca carriers also came highly recommended in many places.
Do you have access to a sling library near you? They are great places to try a few different styles and ask advice.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Good luck misscoupon. Let us know how you get on. Are you finding out what you're having?
Glad you love your new home kerri

Kerri, glad you love your house and the moving is done with now. Hope you can get the water sorted ASAP.
misscoupon, hope everything went well with the scan and you managed to get some good views of your baby.
Birdie, I wouldn't find it weird. You might have to explain that you are pregnant though first! I've been eyeing prams when I've been out, there are a lot of prams that I've now decided are out. I've noticed most prams seem to be low to the ground, I'm not exactly tall but they look like they'll be awkward for me to push. Luckilly, my mum is obsessed with prams so I'll take her shopping with me. My car has a small boot, so I can't imagine I'll have much choice.
TeamLowe, I know what you mean, I don't feel pregnant, although I still get nausea every night it's not too bad and I almost forget throughout the day. Have you got a doppler? I use mine nearly every day just for reassurance - I suppose it's confirmation that there IS a baby in there somewhere.
I still don't look pregnant, I've noticed I've been staring at bumps lately, I think I've got bump envy!
Does anyone else have/or had experience of an anterior placenta? The sonographer said I won't feel any movement until much later in my pregnancy.0 -
I've got an anterior placenta (so it says on my 20 week scan notes) and am feeling lots of kicking. I felt movement and flutters quite early on (about 14 weeks I think).
