Hi everyone!
I'm just graduating from the less than 12 weeks thread following my scan yesterday that dated bean at 13+4! I'm a bit scared of the "big" thread just yet but thought I'd say hello in here and see how we go!

I'll be 24 weeks tomorrow & can't believe how fast it's going. :j
It's getting harder to sleep now as i'm getting so big & don't seem to be able to get comfortable no matter which way I lay.
Still it won't be long now.
I hope everyone is well & enjoying the beautiful weather. :AI'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Hi Winnie welcome to the thread...
I like this one for sharing emotions about scans, appointments and elusive flutters with people at same stage and the big one is good for all those questions you want to ask - someone has always been there before. Go and introduce yourself though... its lovely being on the list and getting to know people's stories - very bad for productivity though
yeh for viability tomorrow BCS Someone I know had their twin babies at 24weeks about a month ago and though one didn't make it the other is now putting on weight and thriving... was out of the incubator on Monday :j just amazing
hugs to all xxteam yellow
Can't wait to meet you now baby!0 -
Hi all,
I wonder how jcr is getting on!
Welcome Winnie and so glad your scan went well, yes post away both here and on the main thread - the reason I set this one up was just to have a mid term area where people would chatter away about this particular stage, without getting too much OTT info about the 'ouch' stuff ha ha... but best to be prepared as they say, so good to check in there too! I only wish I had more time as the thread seems to move so quick.
DogLover I did have one day last week on Weds where I was wiped out in the evening - had a bad headache, had a bath by 20:30 and then in bed by 9 and was quite bored. I do think though it may have had something to do with the ridiculous amounts of jelly beans I ate that afternoon, and not enough proper food! Apart from that have noticed some mild lower back pain on occasion but that's it. I know ahat you mean about little one's movements - I get the same - just before bed, in the morning, and around lunch and dinner time. Basicaly when I am either calm/relaxed or hungry!
BCS last Weds night I just couldn't get comfy at night (prob still the sugar rush) and have found that sitting on any hard seat for long is sore - last night we had a nice dinner as have been together for 10 years, and after a while in the restaurant it was sore because the seat was awkward. I didn't say anything not to spoil the moment, but will be more aware of it now - I won't last long on a seat like that so will check before I sit down...
Am still at work and worse luck, working all day tomorrow too so will only see sunshine on Sunday. But on the plus side I will get 1.5 days off for working Sat, so will be off Monday and a half day later in the month too.:):)

hi ladies,
sparkle i'm getting on fine enjoying the day. it a gorgeous day. been to morrisons met with mum, nan and aunt. had a huge portion of chips swimming in salt and vinegar, oh so devine.
Scan isn't until later. got a late one so kids can come home from school, get changed fed and chill for a bit and hubby can come home from work and shower etc. early morning scans are fab, but i find later in day everyone so much more relaxed and chilled. and plus it such a gorgeous day were planning to go on bike ride after and a chip supper. or maybe the beach. will see what the kids want to do.
asked my FB friends and nearly everyone thinks i'm having a girl. no idea why . but i guess we shall soon see.
bought some more boob tubes today. got a lush purple one and a turqiouse one. they are so comfy to wear with my linens. and long enough that even tho not maternity wear they fit really well. and a good way to tan shoulders and back evenly. Well as even as i do tan, lol.
childrens last day at school today. they are so excited. they have so much time off now. they have lots planned so i hope the weather stays good. as want to get to beach and woods as much as poss. and fully enjoy it. as by summer holidays i'm gonna be rather large and might not be as active as i normally am. although do plan on doing everything i normally do. but i guess you can't predict how things will plan out. so for now i plan to make the most of every minute while the weather is good.
Is anyone else getting scaned today?
if so hope all goes well.. Can't believe i'm nearly 21 weeks  going so fast.0 -

Back from scan. Oh it was wonderful.
Bean has grown so much. My dd and ds2 were loving it , so interested. my ds1 was more interested in how the machines worked, lol. but he did enjoy seeing the baby on the screen once he's been reasuured there was definatly gonna be no blood whatsoever.
got to go back for another scan as couldn't get all measurement's and baby was so chilled out.
We have found out the sex, but not gonna say just yet as i'm just enjoying the moment of called it by now she/he ( not saying which, lol) and getting used to trying not to say it, bean or bump .
All the children are over the moon. as is hubby and myself.
hope everyone else has had a wonderful day and enjoyed this gorgeous weather. lets hope it continues.0 -
Hi ladies!
Apologies for not posting scan pic yet, I keep hoping to get a quiet half hour to properly catch up, but it just never appears. I've been doing 12hr shifts for the office & my eyes are going square from staring at the screen. I have to put in another long day tomorrow as well, so I haven't seen any sun yet.
Made a point of leaving after 12hrs today as it was OHs birthday & I promised to take him for a meal. We went for a curry and this gurgling in my stomach is definitely not baby.
Glad your scan went well jcr, quite right to enjoy your wee secret! :T
I dont know what SPD is either, I presume a pregnancy related bone thing? Whatever it is, it sounds horribly painful. My sympathies to you succeeded, I think there are a few on here.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!0 -
Good morning ladies, Happy V day BCS! Congrats on a good scan JCR.0
