hi everyone. congrats to all those recently finding out they are team blue. I'm 17 weeks today - going so quickly.
going out to buy some bump-trousers today for work
I'm looking forward to my scan on the 26th - 1. to check everything is ok for sure (I am 40 and and all that) and 2. to find out which team we are. Wasn't allowed to find this out 20 years ago, hehe.
Hope everyone is ok and bumps are all doing well xx:A :A :A :A :A :A

Congrats ladies on good scans and yes lots of team blue around right now!
Sorry BCS to hear they were so unsympathetic, I think when it's men they don't relate as much and even if it was a man they were talking to, they'd prob be more blaze' about it than women and not make it so 'sensitive' and 'emotional' as if it's not a big deal.
Turns out my mums cancer has re-emerged, this time in the throat, seems removing both breasts helped for a while but at least this one now isn't spreading they say. She will prob have to start chemo/radiotherapy soon, and is worried she won't be able to make our July date, I hope everything will be ok.
Sorry to hear about your mum Sparkle (hugs).
I'm sure she will be fine as she is obviously a fighter having already beaten breast cancer. :AI'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Sparkle I am so sorry to hear about your mum!
what awful news for you all, I hope she'll be ok xxxxx
I feel so bad today. Two very good friends of mine have just miscarried. One at 7 weeks and one at 13+4. This is her second second trimester loss. I don't know what to say to them other than offer a shoulder to cry on. I feel like I would be the last person they want to see. Why oh why do these things happen, they are wonderful women who so deserve to have healthy pregnanciesWife and mother :jGrocery budget

Hello all. I had my 12 weeks scan today so I guess I have graduated onto this thread. It was amazing to see the little bubba waving at us on the screen. Enough to make you melt isn't it?
I'm 12wks and 3 days so due on the 14th Oct.0 -
Hi everyone and thanks for your kind wishes. I spoke to her this weekend and she hopes to have more info in the next 2 weeks, it frustrates me how long they are all taking to get to the bottom of this, wish she were here in the UK as no matter what anyone says about the NHS, she couldn't have been waiting for a proper answer for nearly 3 months...
Welcome SVsandy and congrats on the scan - yep it's a magical moment you will never forget! We have our first scan pic on the mantlepiece in the little Pampers holder that came in our Bounty pack.:):)

I bought a Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Electronic Steam Sterliser today in Home Bargains for £24.99 & 2 boxes of 3 Tommee Tippee bottles for £6.99 a box.
I'm hopefully getting my cot next week but still haven't bought any clothes.
I think i'm still disappointed that i'm not having a girlwhich is selfish I know as i'm having a health baby.
I've already got 2 boys & 1 girl so was hoping for another girl to make it even.
The woman in Home Bargains asked me if I had much longer to go so I must look huge.
I hope everyone is well. :AI'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

im so excited, finally started to feel BB kicking and moving from the outside. hubby is yet to feel as every time he puts his hands on my bump BB stops moving!!!0

Does anyone develop baby paranoias?
by this I mean, Mr Joshua must be healthy, he kicks me all the time
But Amanda Holden lost her baby at 6 months....... and I've heard of people losing them later.
So I am absolutely terrified. I'm terrified of standing up on a bus before it stops, I'm terrified of falling down steps. I'm terrified of cigarette smoke!Money money money.

yes hun, it is completely normal. well i think it is. but it is natural to worry about your baby. I worry even more about my children now, even tho they are older.
i don't think you ever completly relax. but in a way it is good. becuase you never get complacent about anything. you risk assess everything, you think of all the what if's. but your level headedness in your brain makes rational sence of it.
my baby seems to have a pattern of when it is awake and asleep. generally wakes up same time as me, as i wake up to kicks then nothign till about half 2 ish, then again nothing till about evening time. but even tho i know their will be kicks to come in the time when i feel nothing i do worry. I'm dreading my next scan just incase, something is wrong.0
