thanks hun, i'm none the wiser as to whats wrong. the doc has been brillent. he phoned this time hubby spoke to him as i was soundo ( whoops) he said as he now has more blistery ones he is thinking maybe chicken pox, but then there is only blistery ones on his chin, inside nose and now one on his toe. the rest are so different. as for the pin !!!!! rash everywhere he said could be a reaction to penaciln. so have to see how today goes then get him back to docs if the rash gets worse or doesn't go. Well the pin !!!!! rash is easing. but he is so tearful. it is really horrible seeing him ill. My other son is also home with high temp and sick in night, and my dd is holding her tummy saying it is really hurting, she been awake most of night. Calpol tho seems to be helping them .

sequeena, sorry to hear the about type 1, ( it was me who asked) i have to say ur bump doesn't actually look any bigger than last pic just looks more rounded.

anderson did ur dates put you forward also or just bump measurement ? i love your top, very pretty.

and what is this bump measurement ? in all my pregnancy i've never had anyone measure my bump ? am i meant to ?

ecoelle, don't worry about a bump i know with first everyone wants s big bump to be proud of, but it will come. your be glad in the heat of the summer to have a small bump. My bump now is about the size i was with my last baby just before i had him. he was so well tucked up. ok so i'm not really that big, but i feel it someday's. The day i can't change my toe nail varnish daily is when i will worry,lol.:rotfl:

as for my bump, i'm 20 weeks tomoz, or sunday ah i've lost count. bean is so active. hubby enjoyed feeling the kicks thursday night, was great to share the feeling with him.

My dd is getting very excited for our scan next fri. she was asking me yesterday how long till xmas, as she can't wait to have xmas with her two brothers and sister. and i did say we don't know it a girl , it 50 /50 it could be a boy. her reply yes but it 50/50 it COULD be a girl. :rotfl:lol got to love a 7 yr old.she told me she loves havign brothers but now really want a sister. No pressure then !

Caelshorn, claireloo and doglover are you finding out? or staying team yellow ? let hope babies give you some good poses for the camera.

aww hope your LO gets better soon.

it was my fundal height measurement, where the midwife measures from the top of your pubic bone to the top of your uterus. i dont think it put me ahead any, she just said im measuring bigger. which ive looked up online and as long as its no more that 2 weeks ahead or behind then its fine.

Top was purchased by my hubby(unbelievably!, as he usually is crap at womens clothes) in H & M

did u ask to be measured ? none of my midwifes have ever said about it ? and i've never known to ask.

Good choice for you hubby. I love it when our otherhalfs surprise us.

no i didnt ask, i was measured at my 16 week appointment as well.

i think it pretty much standard practice here, after researching it yesterday, it helps the midwife make sure BB is growing properly, i.e if you are measuring too big the you may have too much amniotic fliud or the baby is growing too quickly, ditto if youre measuring smaller. if the measurements are bigger than 2 weeks either side then they send you for a scan to check things out.

My LO wants a sister too! I have tried to explain it might be a brother he said thats ok but still wants a sister dont think its sinking in that you cant choose lol

Got midwife on monday doesnt seem 2 weeks since I last went! its goin soooooo fast now only 6 more 2 week appointments then i'll be 28 weeks and going weekly!!!!

Better get back to my competitions now I have been neglecting them recently, could really do with winning something decent xx

Jcr hope little one is doing well, I am sure that his snacks and tv and time with mummy will help a speedy recovery.

Anderson nice one re: heartbeat and I guess now you have an explanation for size of bump... I think ours was a few days 'young' at his scan, which may explain why my tummy is growing quite a bit this week I think...

Ecoelle try not to think about it too much for now, I am sure everything will be ok and if it turns out they do decide to make you redundant, you will still be ok, it will work out.

Got my travel sized breast pump from Nuby today, at least it's free - looks quite alien to me, no idea what to do with it ha ha...

I'm back from my scan. I posted on the big thread but not sure everyone reads both. Bubs is healthy all is well. We also caved and found out we're on Team Blue. I can't stop grinning now like a Cheshire Cat. Hubby was like "yessss I knew it was a boy, an heir to the throne and all that" :rotfl:

Can't wait to hear how the others have gone on

Hi everyone, congrats Claireloo!! We're also TEAM BLUE!!

We had to go for a drink half way through because the bubs was too chilled but we've got tons of piccys!

Woohoo Doglover - so pleased for you it all went well. There seem to be so many boy babies around at the moment. We are definitely going to get shopping for blue bits now. :T
