Thanks Sparkle, I'm still about most days but am so tired I forget to post in any of the pregnancy threads.

I'll be 22 when Thomas arrives which I think for me is the right age. I must be ancient compared to my mother, sister and niece. My mum and sis were 18 having their first and my niece will be 18 when her girl arrives in July.

Having children that young just isn't for me. I started TTC at 19 because I wanted to be in my 20s and they kept pushing each month 'where's my grandchild' etc. !!!!!! give a woman a chance!

I'm 22 weeks tomorrow, it's flying by now :) Got a scan on 18th April, 25 week midwife appointment on the 21st (day after my birthday!) and my GTT is on May 12th

My mum had me 2 days before her 21st birthday & I had Ryan 6 weeks before my 22nd so we were roughly the same age.

She was young enought to get the full enjoyment out of my kids when they were younger & tbh despite the fact that she will be 60 this year she is still young for her age.

    I'm 38 so i'll be 54 when my son turns 16.

I've got to have a GTT test too Sequeena as i'm over weight.

It's not that bad, you drink a really sugary drink then they take blood at regular intervals to see how quickly your sugar levels go down.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Oh I'm not bothered about the GTT in the slightest. Used to blood tests and all that crap, just !!!!ed off that my father might have given me diabetes type 1

My mother will be err... 55 when Thomas is born. She had me in her 30s.

Fingers crossed it's just gestational diabetes if there is a problem.

i've gotta have the diabetes test too, with my daughter being diabetic i test myself regular anyway on a spare machine,my results are always fine but i guess they could change?
i am determined to be more active today, even if it's just stripping the beds and hoovering thro, it's not doing me any good just sat here moaning that i'm tired all the time!
i have my 20 week scan in 2 weeks and i'm undecided whether iwant to know, i have one of each so i'm not really fussed, altho i'd love another little boy so that my princess can stay my little princess, i dont think i could cope with a overload of pink, she is pink, glitter and sparkles mad, and she's ten times more hard work than my son ever was, but us girls are high maintenance eh, lol
hope bumps are all doing well today :)
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

There is 19 months between my 2 boys & it was lovely when they were toddlers.

It isn't so nice now they are teenagers though. :rotfl:

yes 19 months between my eldest two. had my my dd 5 weeks after i was 22 and i had my ds 6 weeks before my 23rd. i see u have a ryan, so do i,lol) so much in common .

if i have this baby natural then i'd love to not use any protection and let nature take it's course and hopefully ahve 2 babies really close as i think the 5th will be our last.
but if i do have to have section then were gonna wait 2 or 3 years. which will be scary as i'll be nearly 32 and i always said not babies after 30. but things change.

oh god can only imagine what grief were get wanting more, been bad enough with a 4th if the laughs are anythign to go by when we mention wanting more. but sod them.

sequeena unsure what type 1 diabetes is, but is it something that will go after pregnacy or will you have it now for life ? Sorry to sound so dim, but it not someting i've ever had any contact with to know much about it.

memory loss is awful isn't it. i swear i'm more forgetful this time round than with the last 4 pregnancies, i know the 1st pregnancie ended at 13 ish week, but i'm counting it, as memory loss started with this one around 5 ish week, ( i think, lol)

yah on the appeitie being back. enjoy it.

i'm eating every thing in sight. but i love sweet things, not sweets or choc, but natural sweet like juciy strawberries, melon, pineapple etc. M and S sell lush whole pineapples. so sweet and juicy. oh they are gorgeous. yum yum.
