Knock knock, sticks head round door, spotted this ad for Lidl doing 2 maternity tummy belt's for £3.99 & thought it might be of use to someone on this thread.
If the link doesn't go to the belt's enter your postcode so it bring's up your local store, mines are doing them on 18/04 , but think they can be different in other areas of the country.
They are also doing some baby bit's too including a sleeping bag which I found ace when my one was wee.Booo!!!0 -
Gutted Violetta, I have just bought a black one and a white one from new look for £9! I'd return them but I've worn them both already this week!
Still worth looking if they have other colours though as the model seems to be wearing a purple printed one which would be ok for the summer.
How did you figure out which date it would be available at your site?0 -

Hiya all. Well i had the assessment for work and have found out today that i am not being made redundant but i am being moved to a diffferent store.
On aanother good note i think that baby is moving, i'm not sure, people have told me that it should feel like it's wiggling, but i'm not sure. I keep getting twinges in my lower tummy and then under my ribs, so maybe that's baby moving? Guess i'll know soon enough. I am getting a bump now so i am feeling more pregnant now. It's nice that other people know now and can see it because the bump is getting bigger.
I am feeling much better about everything now and am looking forward to the 20 week scan on Monday. What is differetn between that scan and the 12 week scan, because the pictures i've seen of the 20 week scan don't look that different from our ones fromt he 12 week one.
Hope all mums and bumps are ok x0 -
the 20 weeks scan usally is alot quicker. you don't have blood it it litrally just a scan. they take some more measurements but 9 times out of 10 you have to go back for another scan as they can't get all the measurements. The baby is just bigger and more clearer to see on screen, but you don't get to see the whole baby in one go as much as you do at the 12 week scan. and also if you want to fnd out the sex at the 20 week scan you have that option to do so.
as with moving , the first few moves often feel like bubbles or flutters, then as they get stronger they feel more defined as kicks and it is really definate that it is the baby and you can't mistake it. it truely is an amazing feeling. sometimes you belly will also go very very hard and tight as the baby moves. which can hurt sometimes, but it is confortaing. not horrible.
all my movements are really really low down, but then baby is only about 8 inches i think, but i do remeber when mine got bigger the foot under the ribs is really painful.0 -
forgot to say ecoelle, you have proberly been feeling the baby move for ages, but kept doubting weather it is, or it isn't. so you just dismiss it. and are waiting for something more definate.
either way, when you do recognise the kicks it will be the most amazing and wonderful feeling ever and your be wanting to feel it all the time, even when it can hurt at times.0 -
