yes but pigpen your always opposite to everyone else, lol.

with all mine i've had to go back. but then i don't mind. so far with each baby i've had 4 scans per child. this baby is up to 2, with another booked. perhaps i'm greedy and just love scans, lol.

Squeak was right squished in the corner of my hip so they couldn't get a spine pic.. this one was curled up like a hedgehog so they couldn't do the nuchal scan or get a decent measurement for the dating.. my others were all happy and helpful :D

    Good morning.

is there anyone having any scans this week ? how is everyone feeling.

Bit of a dull day here , so were all still in pj's. will get dressed in a bit but just enjoying snuggle times with the children.

Baby is kicking loads this morning , very active. so wonderful. last night my belly was going crazy . Felt so shattered last night tho, went on bike ride with children and i think i was more tired than them when got home. so many a bit of a chilling day is needed.
  • Hi all mid-term bumps... well my bump was very fidgety at this morning's scan but managed to get all the measurements and all is good. Placenta is nice and high at the back too so one less thing to worry about.

not as sweet as 15 week one but actual ultrasound was brilliant... got to see a gorgeous portrait and baby was babbling away at us - opening its mouth as if it was talking when it got prodded. Sonographer was really professional - didn't let it slip at all and when we got down lower baby had legs crossed so was cooperating with mummy in keeping the surprise and not tempting me.

was surprised at how fidgety baby was, tumbling around and giving my bladder a good kicking - I can hardly feel anything myself.. yet! plus it was all curled up, amazing how its feet were nearly by its head at some points - will also put this onto the big thread so apologies for repeating myself there x

Can't wait to meet you now baby!
  • I've just found out that i'll most likely have to go into hospital after the baby is born to have my mastectomy redone as they left too much breast tissue behind leaving me at exactly the same risk of the cancer coming back as I was before I had the surgery 4 1/2 years ago.

I'm anxious about having surgery again as the last time it all went wrong resulting in 4 further surgeries & i'm also upset as I won't be able to hold the baby etc for a while whilst i'm recovering. :(
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

That's awful BCS I hope that you get better treatment this time round and I'm sure that baby Ethan will pull you through. Hopefully you'll have some time between birth and op to recover and enjoy being a new mummy
    take care x

BCS - So sorry to hear your news. How dreadful for you. <<<HUGS>>>

Well I'm back from my hols another year (and decade) older:rotfl:Had a fab time with great weather but I hear the weather has been brill here too.

We had our 22 week appt this morning. Heard heartbeat again which was lovely. I don't think DH is going to carry on coming to every single appointment now as he is pretty much ignored and aside from briefly hearing the heartbeat, I must admit they are very dull appointments. He will probably come to every other one from now on.

Hope all is well with everyone xx
