winnie the pooh, i love watching baby move from the outside. it isn't very often i see it, and i have to be laying down but it is so fantastic.
Twinkle next is addictive . i knew if i went in there i would't be able to stop spending so i bought some new shoes for my little boy online to resist temptation.
i got him these

awww they are gorgeous. last yr he had the green crocodile ones.
Anyway my dd said she wanted some flip flops so i said come on then were just pop in, i was good we only bought her shoes. but we spent ages looking at the baby stuff, she was worse than me . but aawwww how tiny is it all. i'd forgetten . my last baby was 7lb14 but was wearing 5lb clothing as he was so skinny and long it was the only stuff which fitted him.0 -
my daughter loves it in there, she calls it the sparkle shop, as a lot of this seasons girls clothes have sequins on them
she's always looking through the catalogue picking out what she'd like, i have to tell fibs to her dad, make out she's had the new dress ages, or the new shoes are from last years sale hehehe.
so far i've managed to stay away from the baby things but it's only a matter of time before i get drawn over that way, lol. i've been putting a few pounds away each week so once the scan is over with, i'm going shopping
quick change of topic though, as i'm getting bigger now, i'm finding it harder to sleep in my usual position, flat on my belly, and i want one of them long pillow things, wheres the best place to get one????Skint, but happy (ish):p0 -
My mum bought me a couple of outfits for the baby yesterday so he now has some clothes as well as a pram & a packet of newborn Huggies nappies.
:j
I've got £15 worth of Tesco's vouchers i'm going to double up so I can get some baby grows/vests next week.
Having clothes makes it seem so real. :AI'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I have £58 in tesco vouchers but we only need a pram, a cot and if its a boy some outfits.. daddy didn't look happy when I said it could wear Squeaks pink stuff for some reason.. *shrug* so I don't know what to do with them.. I considered school uniform but I'm not keen on tesco stuff.. and only need a few bits.. shirts and jumpers for DS2 and polo shirts for DD4.. def not £100 worth.. might wait until christmas and do the christmas shopping in the electronics bit.. OH may need a 3DS
I am not buying the cot until we need it I have decided.. unless I spot a magnificent bargain! I am getting Squeaks new car seat first and then the pushchair.. everything else can wait.
I need a couple of packs of nappies and a nb/0-3 snowsuit and 2-3 outfits if a boy.. other than that we appear to be sorted. We'd like a gym too but not vital I guess.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
in my bounty pack i had a voucher for a free pack of huggies newborn. i'm not a huge huggies fan for older children but seeing as these were free and you go thought about a 100 a day ( ok ott i know, lol) when newborn i thought why not , and i had a £2 pampers vouchers with somethign else so when sainsburys had their 33 % off i got a pampers pack for 49p.
i love seeing the tiny baby outfits they do as you say BCS make it seem so much more real.
i don't know why but i am loving looking at xmas and halloween dress up outfits for little bean so exciting. i'm hoping to get to mainland and get to asda as i've seen some gorg george stuff online and their halloween range and xmas range are always gorgeous and very reasonable.
we've nearly told all the family the sex everyone has been so pleased for us. surprised ( i think) but pleased .everyone keeps asking names. but i think even if we decide were gonna keep it to ourselfs until baby is here, just incase change our minds.
i'm loving the exitcing feeling knowing i'm gonna be a mum again, but been having afew cold sweats about the birth. If i'm totally honest although i cope amazing in section. i'm dreading i'm gonna end up with one, it is really panicing me. after 2 breech baby and one over due, my chances of it all happening naturally are slim.but if i do have a 4th section then i know it gonna jeopodise us having more children. i know that sounds really selfish, but i'm not ready to hang up my hat and say no more babies.i'm only 29. i hate the feeling that my body lets me down. i know it doesn't as i'm know i'm so lucky to have as many as i do. but i guess know that i was so close in labour the first time and then not being a strong enough person to stand up and say no to section when went over due i just kinda have that failed myself feeling sometimes. Silly i know, but your have alot of thinking time when preg. I just so want natural, as i so want to have more children with huuby and i know he wants more. we love the whole craziness of manic breakie times, flooded bathroom at bath times, the giggles from the kids upstairs when there meant to be in bed, but have all got out and hidden under each others beds with torches , sitting down after a busy day for a family dinner and seeing all the kids in silence eating away so happy. sorry going off on one, but i kinda feel i'm having a battle all of my own to have natural and that i'm meant to just be happy with what i have, not have dreams or desires.
am i crazy, is this normal feeling's ? My hubby knows just how i feel i've explained it to him, he is wonderful and he said surely if i feel like i want more then it should be mine/our choice. but then i'm not gonna put the hospital staff under pressure to fulfil my dream's. he is so supportive and understanding, but i do apprecaite it is different for him, and it must be hard on him seeing me scared and worried when it is out of his control.0 -
I think it's perfectly normal to worry JCR, hopefully you can have a natural birth this time but if not you haven't let anyone down.
I had 3 normal birth's although with my last (my daughter) she was still breach quite near the end but luckily turned in time & i'm terrified I might have to have a c section this time.
They are planning on using the excess fat & tissue from my stomach for my breast's reconstruction which I won't be able to do if I have a section.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Hi ladies.
Sorry for your awful news BCS.
Good to see you back Claireloo. Sounds like you've had a great time.
Well, 22 weeks now and I look like a whale! I don't care though because I love being pregnant. The only thing I'm not keen on is my constant worry of whether I've felt bubs move. It's weird, he'll Beverley active for a couple of days and then go quiet (or so it seems) for a day or so. I'm not sure if it's where he's moving into a position where I can't feel him as much?
I totally agree about the clothes being so tiny and cute. We've been lucky with generous grandparents as they've been going mad stocking us up. We've got enough already for about the first 6 months!! We've chosen our nursery set - guess where from . . . . Next! It's so cute. Can't wait to crack on with it but DH is v busy with work and he's so particular about decorating that it's easier to let him do it. No hurry yet I suppose, I'm just really excited.
We've started buying mallows and wipes too but not gone mad. We've also got some other bits and bobs too. Can anyone tell that we're excited about our first baby?!0 -
Hi ladies,
Not posted for a while on here been on the big thread, but cant keep up most of the time so here I am again i'm 16+6 still getting morning sickness a bit and i'm knackered but other than that its being a much easier pregnancy than my last.
My bump is really coming on yeahhhhhh work have given me maternity pants but just a bigger size top which drowns me, but isnt much bigger on the tummy area so I think there gonna have to sort out a proper maternity topI still havent had my risk assessment even though my job involves climbing ladders, lifting heavy items and working with cleaning products. plus I have not been given any slack as regards breaks etc we work 6 hours before getting a break at the moment
