Hi ladies, so sorry but I've not read back properly, just a quick skim.
We've chosen the Little puppy range from next. My login ID is a good hint!! It's a lovely blue collection forcour little blue bump.
I'm glad we found out the flavour. I've been able to get excited over boys things and I feel it's easier to bond knowing who I'm carrying. However I'm very impressed by every team yellow!
Welcome Cara and any other newbies I may have missed.0 -
Morning all!
Hope we've all managed to enjoy some of this gorgeous sunshine over the weekend?
The building work to create our nursery is starting on Friday!! I'm so excited, it makes the whole baby thing become even more realcan't wait to get a cot and choose our nursery set :j! Lots of work to do before we get to that point though, our house is pretty titchy and rather full with the clutter of three hoarders and a large dog so we've all got to downsize! Trying to convince DS that he really doesn't need his Bob the Builder toys anymore (he's nearly 11, hasn't touched them since he was 3 lol) but its not going down well so far!
Have also got to go to the doctors later for a blood test to check my folate and vitamin B12 levels (not sure why?) and to get my hernia checked because it's not playing ball as the baby gets bigger. I'm still waiting for a surgeon's appointment for them to assess me/it and decide whether to operate to fix it or wait until bubs arrives, bed rest is really boring and I'm not looking forward to six more months of it!
Hope everyone and bumps are keeping well0 -
glad you've ahd a productive weekend winnie. it is so nice sin't it when you feel like you've made headway. Why not say to your son to put the bob toys in loft for baby. even if you have a girl bob is on tv so much ur little one will love them, even if used as sand pit toy's. i sold all my ds ones as my youngest showed no interest and now he loves watching it. typical.
Weather has been brill here. well sunday it was. saturday was very grey and over cast. My youngest b'day. he had a fab day. over whelmed by his pressies and then sunday we went for a bike ride with his new bike and a picnic which he loved , then went to familys and he bounches for england on there massive 14ft trampoline it is huge. then went to park and came home for a buffet tea. he was black and shattered by bedtime. well all 3 were tbh.
as for baby. all is well. i'm sure ive never been so hungary as i have this last week. i just can't stop eating.on a plus note i can drink tea again which iis fab. as i was only able to drink coffee but i had to have a big sugar in it, which worried me as i don't want to put on too much weight :rotfl: no chance. but anyway, no coffees in 3 days . fantastic. baby is kicking so much. had alot of pain on friday. hard to explain but it was almost like severe back pain that shot straight down my legs when i moved. brought tears to my eyes at one point. but was all gone by saturday so maybe baby was laying awkwardly.
i've just changed all the beds, i love monday bed change day. silly i know but i love nothign more than fresh bedding.
another gorgeous day, think havign a day home, then wil head to beach tommorrow.0 -
morning all, beaut weather isnt it? i am lucky that we can actually see the beach from our window and getting to it is less than a two minute walk so we've spent all weekend on it, i would of gone again today as it's glorious here but the shopping, washing, cleaning ect wont do itself, mores the pity.
i'm 20+2 today and have my scan on wednesday, eeek, reality will kick in then! little bit nervous about it, just want to know all is well, i just cant wait for the definate movements and kicks instead of thinking "was that one?"
anyway, wish me luck, asda here i come. enjoy the sun everyoneSkint, but happy (ish):p0 -

hey everyone hope we are all well
Went to midwife today (same one as last time, still dont like her!) she still hasnt grasped that the consultant has written up my care plan that I come every 2 weeks for a checkup i'm 17+3 today she said if my scan in 2 weeks is ok i dont need to come then til 24 weeks? I said i'm meant to come every 2 weeks? she said well its up to you, I would have thought they would go along with what the consultant said not just what I fancy doing! anyways moan over.
My DS isnt very well todayhe woke with a headache then seemed to perk up a bit with a bit of calpol then when we went in to see midwife he was burning up, shivering and his teeth were really chattering
I rang NHS direct as I was concerned about him complaining of a headache they said prob just a virus. Hes still really hot i've just given him more calpol and hes led on settee with a damp tea towel on his head, he keeps getting upset, i hate him being ill and not being able to make him better.

Morning ladies and bumps
hope everyone is well!
I had no idea that Bob the Builder was still on telly Jcr! Thanks for the hint, they will defo be going up in the loft!
Hope your scan went well yesterday Sequeena!
I'm sure you won't have long to wait until you feel movements Twinkle! I'm 15+1 and I've been feeling *something* for about 3 weeks now and I'm really looking forward to the definite kicks!
Hope DS is a little better today Bella? If he's still a bit rubbish it might be worth nipping him to the docs, there's tonsilitis going around down here which makes them so miserable.
More packing up the house getting ready for the builders this morning and then will be out in the sun this afternoongot loads done yesterday so DH has gone off to work with a large box and several bin bags to drop off at a charity shop. I love decluttering, just wish I could train myself and the boys not to clutter up in the first place lol!
Also, I think I've decided which pram I want. I saw a lady with a silver cross surf in Mr T's the other day and loved it! Going to see if I can find a supplier locally so we can go and have a look and a play and then try to get hold of one on ebay rather than stump up the huge price tag!0 -
ah bless bella hope he feels better soon. nothing worse when theres nothing you can do for them have you given him some ice poles to suck on to keep him hydrated and make him feel cool.x
