Ooo good luck today Twinkle :D! I'm so jealous, my next scan isn't until 7th June and I can't wait! DH is desperate to know whether we are pink or blue and I think I'm coming around to the idea but we'll definitely keep it a secret from the rest of our family - including DS because he couldn't keep a secret if his life depended on it :rotfl:

    Happy Birthday Sequeena!

I actually slept for the whole night for the first time in weeks last night so I'm feeling fantastic today :j! Not quite full of energy, but considerably better than I have been! Off to Mr M's in a bit to buy some plants and then spend the whole day in the garden with DS. He wants to do some painting and I want to sit in my paddling pool :D oh I love the sun :D!

Hope everyone and their bumps have a lovely day :) xx

I'm planning on getting myself a paddling pool too, i finish work next Thursday so im looking forward to sitting out in the garden and making the most of the summer before i get too big!

Its my day off today and so far have taken my little girl swimming, been to supermarket, just unpacked shopping and had some lunch and now have to go back out to pick up little sis from train station and drop her off at my mums. I wont be back here until at least 2.30 and i havent even started the housework yet.........

After my bosses comment yesterday im trying to focus more on healthy eating, although i do eat fairly healthily anyway and i swim 4 times a week, i just really dont want to gain the same amount (4 1/2 stone!) as i did with DD1, even though it all came off in 6 months. DD1 weighed 10lb 10oz which was a real shock, so am hoping for a natural birth and not such a big baby this time!!!

    morning ladies.

i bought some gorgeous next baby grows yesterday. washed them and put them on the line and omg they looked so tiny, i got some newborn ones and some 0-3m ones. it was the size for the feet that got me just so diddy.so exciting. can't wait till our baby in my arm's. to see after 9 months who has been giving my insides a good kicking, lol. i'm 23 weeks this weekend, time is just flying.

baby decided to kick me none stop last night and really down low, so had a very restless night and by 4 am i was so hot i had to put the celing fan on. bearing in mind i have to snuggle under my thick winter duvet or a i can't sleep, it proberly wasn't as hot as i thought, lol.

we've got a day home today as waiting for lots of deliveries. most important tescos.

well 4 day weekend for hubby, he has half a day today hopefully also. can't wait. we got lots planned. just being together as a family is perfect i love it.

can't beliver the children go back to school next week. i know it only 3 days but i've loved having them home. it has gone so fast. could do with another few weeks.

well i can finally start buying things!
scan went well, was sure something was going to be wrong, guess you just think the worst eh?
had a very thorough look and everything is fine and dandy, baby a little unco-operative but thats me all over, the pic we have is of the baby sort of raising it's fists, as if to say, "look, i'm sleeping, leave me alone or you'll get some of this" looks so funny.
i can finally start to enjoy the pregnancy now, and even better, i can go out and spend!!!!!
    Skint, but happy (ish):p

Just got back from my 16 week checkup with the midwife and heard the heartbeat :D it was so strong and regular I was almost literally :j! Don't get to see her again until 25 weeks which seems like an awful long time away but at least we've got the scan in between!

So glad your scan went well Twinkle :D

Missy - I'm in Cornwall and it is GORGEOUS down here right now! Where abouts are you headed?

The preparations for our building work are nearly complete - my dining room is now a living room, living room is a bedroom and bedroom is about to become two bedrooms so it's all change! Pretty cool to have DH home for five whole days, just wish DS was home instead of off with his dad but such is life, we have him next week :)

    Hi Winnie

We are headed to Polzeath, we live in South Devon, so not too far to go, just need to get on the road as early as poss tomorrow to beat the traffic. Im not normally a camping fan as im not the worlds best sleeper, but OH is into camping and surfing so i'm making the effort ;)

Winnie, we can't be too far apart then - I'm 16+6 today & had my 16 wk app yesterday - the midwife thinks the placenta is on my front wall as we could hear giblet's heartbeat at the same time as mine!

Off to Cyprus on Saturday then got my 20 week scan the Friday after we come back - can't wait! Fingers crossed there'll be a letter re Downs testing at home when I get back & not a missed phonecall :(

Been made redundant at work (6th time!) but we're getting paid until 31 July at least so it'll just mean early mat leave for me - hope this weather stays around!

    Hope everyone's well.

    Cxx

I'm glad it went well for you - I noticed on my list of appointments I got with my bounty pack there there's nothing between 16 - 25 weeks - apart from a blood test - that seems like FOREVER!!
  • I can't wait for my 12w scan in 9 days then I'll be here to join you all! :)
