winnie the pooh, hope your plasterer did turn up in the end. what work are you havign done ? we have a 2 bed house at mo, but were havign building work done to give us another 2 bedroom's. hubby said work starting in 2 weeks  i'm dreading the mess.

Also Now as we've told all family etc i can now annouce i'm very proud to say were having another little boy.

    so i'm team Blue

Aw congratulations on team blue :D!

We're having one of our large bedrooms partitioned into two rooms which I thought would be dead easy but apparently my house was built by "Cornish cowboys" (to quote the builder) which makes things tricky. Plasterer called to apologise last night and said he'd come later today so we'll see if he actually turns up!

My umbilical hernia is growing by the day and is so incredibly sore.. and I appear to have very very sore ligaments in my tum.. both sides.. and they pull just turning over in bed.. then I have the SPD clicking and clacking away so I sound like I have broken biscuits in my innards!

Have they offered to do anything about your hernia? I'm seeing surgeon next week to see what they want to do about mine but everyone seems to think they'll leave it alone. Have also got a physio appointment tomorrow about my clicky hips so I guess I'll find out if its SPD also! I'm sure pregnancy was much easier first time around lol!

I haven't seen anyone about it. nor do I intend to.. I need major stomach surgery anyway to fix the muscles damage so it'll all be sorted at the same time no doubt.

I haven't bothered ringing to make the physio appointment.. I don't want it, they can ram it.. I apparently have a mw appointment next Wednesday too.. or it might be Tuesday.. don't know, don't care.. I told them not to make it in the first place!

I think my easiest pregnancy was probably my 4th baby.. she didn't move ever and I didn't get huge and she was 6 weeks early.. all pretty much a breeze really.. all the others seem to have had one difficulty or another :( Can't be that bad I guess, I am feeling sad this one is the last!

i looked at the jogger but it has solid tyres and they wear horribly so being a picky moo I would prefer pneumatic ones.. see.. picky picky picky.. I was leaning towards the nipper 360 BUT the max. handle height is 97cm and OH is 6ft4 so I don't think it will be high enough and he'll look like he has babies in a wheelbarrow.

Hmmm, see what you mean. I want pneumatic tyres too. I'm only looking for one baby and haven't found one which really hits the spot. I'm so reluctant to spend a lot unless it's exactly what I want, whatever that is.

Just for fun, take him to try a bugaboo bee. It's teeny. My OH is 6ft and looked really silly with it, like it's a toy pram.

Congrats JCR and Twinkle, this time next week we will know what flavour we have - if baby is co-operating!!

Im enjoying this pregnancy so much more than my first, its with a different partner and having a chilled out OH makes such a difference, DD's dad spent the whole 9 months moaning that his life was over as he wouldn't be able to go and see his friends etc well he can do that all he likes now im not with him :rotfl:
Due 26th July, team yellow :D

I don't really have a strict budget. It just has to be right.. It is about the only thing we need to buy (twin pram, few blankets, cot thogh we are buying that when we need it.. and a car seat for Squeak so Dot can have her little one)

Same here. If I see one I fall in love with I'll pay whatever I need to but am reluctant to pay a lot for something which isn't what I really want. I'm also not buying a cot yet. Don't really have the space right now and have been offered loan of a basket and a crib which, with new mattresses, should see me through the first few months. The pram shop selection round here is pretty poor considering it's a reasonably sized city. I could do with going to a huge megastore type place to have a play and see what I can break.

we checked out a few places on monday but there is a small shop which stocks a few different makes.. it is so hard with OH being so tall and me being so.. not tall lol. We still have the crib in situ from the baby so it can stay there now and we'll use that for the first 5-6 months again

Hi ladies! Congrats on team pink Twinkle and congrats JCR on being a fellow team blue-er! I have reached V day so I'm feeling even more excited than normal!

I too have become massive and everyone feels the need to say so. I don't care though, I am enjoying this pregnancy and intend to carry on even if it means I've got a mega diet the other end.

    I hope you're all well x
