fat grumps have set in which DH is not loving!

Snap!! I'm around 21 weeks now and feeling a bit better now it's fairly obvious I'm pregnant but have had some rough days. Husband is doing a good job of complimenting me and boosting my mood but I know he's lying because I saw a photo of myself at the weekend and I am huge allover. Oh well. I'm sure it's worth it. Seeing the photo has prompted me to lay off the big macs and sweets and eat more fruit, veg and salad.

    Hi Winnie,

I had a lovely weekend thanks, very chilled out despite sleeping in the campervan - i actually really enjoyed it and we are planning another trip with DD very soon!

We got home on sunday to very poorly DD, then yesterday she started complaining of pains in her tummy and was burning up, then around 7pm she was sick all over herself and her bed, so after cleaning everything up i spent the night in her room, got up for work after having just a few hours sleep and the car wouldn't start!! One of those days!!

Still, im home now and chilling out, OH sent me a text earlier saying he was going to pamper me when he gets home :D

I hope everyone is having a lovely day - only 8 days to go until our next scan!!x

Missy glad you enjoyed your lil holiday and sorry to hear your dd isn't very well. hope she recovers soon.

Twilight, i so know what you mean about feeling huge, i'm eating loads of fruit i just love ice cold apples, but part of me thinks sod it i'm gonna eat burgers and rubbish, but i am worried about my size. i just feel uncomfy. i was walking down the stairs and huuby was at the bottom and said your very beautiful aren't you. it was wonderful to hear even tho he say's it alot but i felt huge that day so was so nice to hear.

winnie the pooh, hope your plasterer did turn up in the end. what work are you havign done ? we have a 2 bed house at mo, but were havign building work done to give us another 2 bedroom's. hubby said work starting in 2 weeks  i'm dreading the mess.

As for my baby, well i'm in agony most of time, it just hurts to walk, not sure what i've pulled. don't think it baby related tho as the pain is lower back and top of leg.babies movements have slowed down. i was able to set my watch by the movements , but not now. they are very random.

Well made a choice i'm going with the i love my baby range from babies r us. i bought the moses basket today.

i just love the design. so i've made a start on buying bits. still feels a bit early, but i guess if the consultant does what first said and starts first induction at 37 weeks then i've got just under 14 weeks left. although part of me thinks this won't happen and i'll go over due, lol. or i'll end up having a section.

Also Now as we've told all family etc i can now annouce i'm very proud to say were having another little boy.

    so i'm team Blue

Were chuffed to bits and so excited. can't wait for our little man to be here and join our crazy and manic but wonderful family.

Know what you mean about being in agony :( getting up for a wee at night is the worst. Thomas is getting bigger now so when I sit up I've got his weight and the weight of my full bladder which makes my lower stomach so tender :(

jcr... lovely, a little man to join your brood... I want a little man for OH.. he doesn't have one but withm track record it is much more likely to be a little madam.. though that would be fine financially as we have more than enough girly stuff, a lot of which Squeak never even wore.. OH's family bought 3-6 month for her at christmas when she was nearly 5 months and wearing 6-9 already :( But a little man we'll have to buy him clothes.. but not many 2-3 outfits.. but still..

I am REALLY struggling to find a twin pushchair I can actually move! We saw a nice one in m/care but I couldn't tip it when it was empty so there would be no chance with babies in it.. I need a side by side with a really high handle and wide seats.. suggestions welcome!

My umbilical hernia is growing by the day and is so incredibly sore.. and I appear to have very very sore ligaments in my tum.. both sides.. and they pull just turning over in bed.. then I have the SPD clicking and clacking away so I sound like I have broken biscuits in my innards!

JCR - congrats on Team Blue - there's so many of us having little boys around the same time. I can't remember what all your other children are but another boy will be lovely...:j

Congrats on team blue jcr. Same as me too! Pigpen, I was the opposite. Part of me wanted a girl but a boy makes more financial sense as I have 3 young nephews who will pass things on. In the end I don't much mind as long as it gets here safely.

Re double buggies - I've heard great things about the baby jogger city mini and think they do a double version. Haven't seen it though so just chucking in ideas. Sorry if it's a carp one.

i've got a 7yr old dd, and 2 ds aged 5 and 3, although the 5 yr old will be just 6 when baby is here.

likes others i would of loved a girl, as been along time since done pink. but it makes mroe sence another blue if being sensible as i've got alot of boys bits stored from last two. but we would of worked it , if it was a girl. deep down we didn't really mind as were gonna love it no matter if boy or girl.

As for doubles i had a mothercare tandem i think it was. ( one seat in front of other) it was horrible. thankfully i hardly used it, but i didn't fully reaseach it before buying. it was so heavy and very ugly. My dd was 19m when ds came along and i only really used it in depth of winter when as when it was warmer weather my dd walked. she walked at 9 months so by time ds came along she was very confidant at walking.i think if i ever neded a tandem again i would do alot mroe research. as the one seat in from of other is fine, but you have the biggest child at the front, so getting up kerbs i had to jump to put enought weight to lift it up . not good. but on the plus side, it easily fitted through doors, pavements etc and folded very easy. but more negative than positves.

Well all my pain has gone, so goodness knows that i did, but i won't do it again whatever it was :rotfl:.
it very dull and grey and dark and cold here today. where has the sun gone ?

Havign a day in, i can't remember why but i know i'm meant to be waiting in for something :rotfl: i changed all the beds yesterday so got the ironing to do in a min, i usually iron on same day as clothing washed and dried so i can get it put away, but by half 7 when kids when to bed i crashed on sofa and didn't move till i went to bed at midnight, lol.

watched the mulitpules parents prog on bbc3 last night, was very interesting.,then watched the mums behaving badly, followed by teen mom on mtv, i love sky plus, lol.poor hubby retreated to his den:D

i looked at the jogger but it has solid tyres and they wear horribly so being a picky moo I would prefer pneumatic ones.. see.. picky picky picky.. I was leaning towards the nipper 360 BUT the max. handle height is 97cm and OH is 6ft4 so I don't think it will be high enough and he'll look like he has babies in a wheelbarrow.

Jcr.. thanks.. I can't have a tandem that is why I have to have a side by side.. I can't get a tandem to move I had the guy in m/care in stitchs onMonday because I couldn't tip a tandem with no children in it I'd stand no chance with 2 in!
