Well my scan went great! Little Thomas has more fluid around him and head circumference has increased by almost 7cm in 4 weeks! I have another scan at 28 weeks, I guess it's a monthly thing for me now.

It's my birthday tomorrow and I remember when I got my bfp in early December figuring out I'd be nearly 25 weeks by my birthday and here I am! All that time has gone so fast!

Morning Ladies, and bumps!

Well we had our 20 week scan yesterday and although they couldn't 100% guarantee that the baby was not Downs they have said that the growth looks normal and they couldn't see any signs of heart defects so that was good news. Becase of my medical history and because of a family genetic disorder they want me to have an ECG and also to have extra scans at 28, 34 and 38 weeks. The consultant was really nice thougha nd explained everything well and i think that out of the news we could have been receiving then this was definately the best that we could have hoped for. Hi Everyone

Can i join in please? I'm 18+5 with my 2nd child and have been reading all the threads since i found out i was pregnant at 4 weeks, but only now have the time to post!

I will be leaving work next Thursday as i have been made redundant, im quite glad to be getting out of there to be honest - today my boss said to me 'goodness me, you're packing weight on' i felt like crying, i have put on about 13 pounds so far - im still fuming about his comment now!!

Our scan is on 3rd May and we are going to hopefully find out whether its a girl or a boy.

Welcome missy76. i'm being told all the time i'm huge ( not by hubby tho he knows better,lol) but yes considering this is hoW big i was with last baby just before he was due then i am big) but when i lay down it goes almost ,lol. I''ve got another scan on 3rd also. it is so exciting finding the sex out..

Bella, sorry your little one isn't too well. Hope he is better soon.

Had wonderful day yesterday the weather was so lush was meant to be hottest day but it didn't feel it.there was a little breeze which was fab. the kids had a wonderful time at the beach. found loads of crabs, little fish. they made friends with some little boys who were also doing the same so had a great time.the tide was out and left loads of little pools of water. excellent for little explorers, and ended the day the best way you can after a beach trip. fish and chip's supper, yummy. kids want to go again today, so we shall see . might do bike ride instead and picnic. but having a chilling morning first. DS1 is still snooring in bed anyway,lol

So pleased some of you are making choices on buggys. i'm down to 3 choices now. the my3,herbie and the pliko.both the my3 and herbie come in a lush lime green i had the same colour for my luna and loved it. but the pliko comes in a couple of nice colours.i'm not in a rush but hubby wants to buy one soon. i think it is because he is starting building work soon ( i must be mad, my house will be a mess,lol)but wants to know we have everythign ready for baby first. but so many choices. i did buy some gorgeous t-shirt and short outfit sets for the summer tho. so best have some nice hot dyas at end of august,lol.

Baby movements have been slowing down a bit but getting more stronger. however the little one is waking me up very early hours of the mornign as i can't get comfy due to the kicking, but then it may be that i'm getting hot , so the combo of the two just makes me stir.

morning all, another beautiful sunny day on the cards,
i've got my scan today and i'm as nervous as hell, never slept much at all last night through worrying, scan isnt til 3 either so i've got almost all day to fret about it, i just want everything to be alright but you always have that little niggle at the back of your mind dont you?
i'll update when i get home, enjoy the sunny day

try not to worry hun, i know it easier said than done/ my last scan was at half 4 and i found it so much better than earlier one's. as the unit alot quiter and more calm. also i went out in morning, met up with mum and nan for drink and did some shopping, tidyed up the house etc. i just chilled and kept myself busy. before long it was time to get the kids from school and then the hour at home seeing to them , food, homework and changing etc went so quickly.

Are you finding out the sex ? or staying team yellow ?

i dont know whether to find out, i'm really not fussed as i've got one of each already, OH wants to know but i wear the trousers in our house:)
we're taking our little girl with us and i just know she's gonna ask (she's only 4) so there's a good chance we'll be told, however i may keep it a secret from everyone else.
