I bought some sachets of Gaviscon early in pg so easy to carry about. Thankfully they haven't been needed yet.

Won a tens machine on ebay today for 99p - local so I can collect.

Worth a go for that price.

Been out for lunch with friends today - she's desparate to start baby shopping for my baby & I had said that she couldn't start until July. Think she'll be in Mamas & Papas tomorrow!

I bought nappies & wipes yesterday in Tesco. £15 for about 180 nappies & 88p for Johnsons wipes. It's a start I suppose. It's all starting to become real so think I will start buying more things - although in my mind October is ages away so what's the rush?

I thought Gaviscon was safe I just had a panic moment as I literally drink it from the bottle! I've got rennies too in my bag and anther bottle of Gav in the car. I'm so glad the Dr prescribes it!

Does anyone else find their bump seems to grow through the day?! I seem to wake up to a normal sized bump which then increases after each meal. By bedtime it's huge!!

TTC40 I started buying a pack or two of wipes with my weekly shopping from 20 weeks last time. When baby was born there was loads of packs but needless to say they didn't last long at all! We still use wipes now for cleaning hands/ etc when out and about so I'll probably start buying packs again. The tesco offer is good Johnsons wipes are our favpurite (although I am finding lidl/ aldi good too and they have more in the pack for same price) x

It is the muscles relaxing and stretching as they get tired and the food you scoff throughout the day.. it is usual.

I swig gaviscon from the bottle too... such a scrote lol

I tried so hard to have Gaviscon but it's too rank!! The taste is ok but the texture makes me retch!! I'm going to get some rennies if I need to, but it's a shame I can't get on with the gaviscon that was prescribed so cost nothing!!

24 weeks today!! Guess that means I'm moving on up to the big board! Scary.

OH and I went to look at pushchairs in M0thercare on Saturday, needless to say we are still clueless on what we would like. I think we're going to have to go look at them a few times more before we make a decision. Ho hum, at least it's practically the only thing we need to buy brand new.

I think it's going to take us a while choosing a pushchair too, there's just so many! No doubt Dh will research any we like thoroughly for reviews before we actually buy one. We should probably start looking soon but ill stick with starting decorating the nursery this weekend :)

    Hello

I need a lot more practice with the one I got (Bugaboo Gecko)... it is easy, just also easy to forget how to attach bits and swap directions of things etc. etc. ... It also quite heavy, hoping I don't have to do a great deal of lifting in and out of things on my own!

Found some free samples of SilDerm stretch mark cream (prevention and 'repair') on HUKD that will hopefully be on their way to me... 23+3 now and getting bigger by the day!

Ahh lozza I'm jealous, I would like to start decorating but looks like we can't get a builder to even come to build the wall until early October (might be finished as I go into labour, at least that will put them off prolonging the job whilst they're here - right?!)

We're doing some travel system debating at the moment too... Choices are a second hand brilliant one, or a brand new slightly cheaper model. They are both non MSE though! question is get the new and a 2 year guarantee but pay more, or risk second hand but a fair it cheaper. So hard to make decisions!
