Maybe my area doesn't offer it routinely then, my bmi is fine and blood tests/pressure are fine so might not be subjected to it perhaps. Ill ask at my next mw appointment though just in case :)

Great news on people's scans, I've got my second anomaly scan next week, hoping winegum co-operates this time.

If it was routinely offered in your area Lozza I should think you'd know about it by now. It's not offered to everyone in my area so I'm not having it. The only extra appointment I get is my Anti_D jab at 28 weeks. Lovely.

Congrats on the second anomaly scans TTC40 and BabMoose. Good to see that everything is going well.

Hope everyone else is well and that bumps are progressing nicely.

Yellow bump is coming along well. I keep saying that I'll post more on the boards and sort more baby stuff out but I haven't! I did however look at a space saver cot for my bedroom, so all's not lost! Off on my holiday soon so trying to get sorted for that. DD keeping me busy as always. She is super clingy at the moment and is all 'mummy, mummy, mummy', but secretly I don't mind. I love her so much - she's just too cute at the moment :smileyhea

Apprentice on. Catch you all later :)

We got the nursery furniture ordered while it was on offer, did it on the mothercare baby plan so it isn't being delivered till end of August, but nice to know its another thing sorted. Though we had to get the tape measure and masking tape out to check that it'll fit in, made us realise how small our house is lol. It all fits though which is the main thing :)

I haven't got to have glucose test thankfully, although I will need the anti D jab.

How's everyone feeling? Dare I admit it I'm actually feeling quite good, no sickness, large appetite just lacking energy. I do get very achy though so no idea what I'll be like further along!!

Is the glucose test something everyone has to have? Only it's never been mentioned to me before.
I have never been offered the glucose test thankfully and I would probably refuse (as I hate anything Orange, Lucozade and full fat coke gives me a cracking headache for days). My BP is normal, but my BMI is up around the 30 mark. I try to avoid anything sugary before giving a urine sample. I'm watching for symptoms though and none so far. I'm tired, but my iron levels are a bit low.
  • Hello ladies hope all your bumps are doing well?
Lovely lovely adoption news TTC40 and hopelass :-)
Fab for good 20 weeks scans too :-)
I have finally made it to 24 weeks today, It feels like a massive milestone to have a viable baby in my belly and know that it would be acknowledged as such now. Still nervous though - I guess that never goes away.
I have to say I am really enjoying the 2nd trimester, think I may have finally found my glow but I still don't look very obviously pregnant, If you know me you can tell but if not I still look a little like I've had a really big lunch! I was speaking to someone yesterday and mentioned that I was 5&1/2 months pregnant and she did a really obvious double take and told me I must mean 5 weeks -err no!
I'm going to doodle on to the big scary thread now, looking forward to seeing you all there :-)
