Just thought I would share some happy news.

A work associate met her 11 month old daughter for the first time yesterday & brings her home on Friday forever.

A very lucky little girl is being adopted & will live in an adoring family. :j:j:j

It's brilliant when the adoption process is concluded - although it's a long & difficult road.

Ahh that is so lovely :) so nice to know that the little girl gets her forever mummy and daddy instead of having to grow up moving around the care system.

That's lovely news TTC. I have a lot of admiration for adoptive parents. I don't think I am strong enough to face the process.

In other news, I just screamed at some spotty teenager trying to sell me new windows. I was so polite and then he put his hand up to stop me closing the door and I just went mental at him. How dare he! The bloke across the road came running over because he thought something had happened.

How rude lilymay! Some sales people have a right cheek when they come round your house. I would've reacted the same way.

Well, it is almost time for me to jump ship to the 'big girls' thread, hope to see you all there soon!

I horrified the Sky guy who knocked on my door when I said we don't have a tv so Sky would be pointless!

In addition to the happy adoption news above a colleague of mine who can't have children biologically just got married yesterday so when she receives her two little ones in a week they can all have the same name and start together as a new family! Really sweet!

Well my time has also come to disappear over to the big girls thread. Hope to see you all there soon :) xxx
