I've just had my private gender scan, the 20 week one is on 8th or 9th July! I highly recommend the private scans, IMO worth every penny. We got to see bubs for ages, every angle and got to see them hiccuping/ moving and saw so much detail. DH wants to go back again in a few weeks lol!

Oh and we're TEAM PINK!!! I'm over the moon!

I'm still feeling very achy but I think it's the spd/ back problems I have. Can't wait to go shopping now!

Lozza - stuff the MIL! It's upto you what you buy etc. maybe tell her something really expensive you want her to buy?! We bought lots last time and got gifted a ridiculous amount of bath stuff we are still using now! I need to start sorting my sons stuff but everything of his is v boyish so we will probably need most things

Yay! Congrats on team pink hun. Can't wait to find out now x

Wore a maxi dress to work yesterday - lots of comments of how nice I looked & how you could see a bump! Obviously I don't make an effort too often - can't remember the last time I wore anything but trousers to work (with a top - obviously).

Just gone through wardrobe to take out stuff that I have no chance of wearing for the next few months (a lot of stuff). Hoping it will make the challenge of dressing easier if I haven't got to push aside things that don't fit.

I probably have 3 large suitcases (or equivalent) of clothes (aside from the stuff I have taken out today) of clothes that don't fit. Things I have kept for 'when I lose weight' - a range of several sizes.

Next job is to go through it & be realistic. 'When' I lose weight I will be so delighted I will buy new!

Will have to see if I can be bothered to e bay - probably not worth it as it will be a faff - although I may put some on as bundles so I only have one postage task.

The maxi dress was a comfy option, think I'll try & buy a couple more.

Hope everyone is having a more exciting day than a wardrobe clearout (although I secretly find it theraputic).

Lol you mean to say you dont go to work in just trousers and nothing else:rotfl: nice when people compliment on you on looking nice when your pregnant :)

I was really ruthless when I cleared my wardrobe out, basically all my tops went I only saved the newest ones that I'd bought before I knew I was pregnant, everything else was looking pretty old as with trying to get pregnant I'd avoided buying anything since we started ttc. Had a lovely day shopping with my mum, got winegum some bits in the sale from asda, we did an order online but I swear some of the stuff on sale in store werent available online, and got Dh gran some more wool for her knitting. I dread to think how many cardigans baby is going to have as gran has already made about 3 I think with lots of hats & mittens, and my Mum and one of Aunties are also knitting. Certainly wont have to worry about baby being cold! :D (22 weeks exactly today, can't believe how quick the weeks are going by now).

I've had to resort to gaviscon tonight. Been getting heartburn every evening for the past week but tonight it's awful. Took 1/4 of the dose, just in case.

Do you have any names in mind Scarlett? X

I'm really not sure? The girls names we liked last time I don't seem to anymore which is worrying!! I might borrow some name books from the library so I can find some I like! I'm hoping to buy a couple of sleepsuits/ outfits this week with DH to make it feel more 'real'. I've been suffering with terrible heartburn for a while I thought gaviscon was ok to take as I've practically lived off the stuff! Every time I eat = heartburn starts! Hope it eases for you soon xx

gaviscon is the first thing the GP prescribes during pregnancy. I have a bag full of rennies though.. much easier to transport and you aren't going to smash a glass bottle in your bag. ranitidine is fine too. There are very few that aren't, it is just finding the one that works for you.. after eating 8 rennies in about 45 minutes the other day I resorted to snaffling a couple of yoghurts which worked better!
