Yup - 21 week scan was today. Baby was a bit camera shy! Kept turning its back when we needed to see the face. We opted not to find out the gender - I was happy either way and left the decision up to DH. Baby is healthy which is the main thing.

Suffering from chronic numb bottom- been sat down marking end of year tests at work for part of the day today and within 15 minutes my lower spine and bum are numb and ache like I've been sat on a stone floor for hours. Also hurts to get up from a sitting position. Anyone else experienced this? (It has been getting worse for days- today was very frustrating)

Congrats comp! Glad baby is looking lovely and healthy.

fluffysox, not exactly the same but i keep waking up in the morning with a numb bum/hip when i have been lying on my side, really annoying!

fluffysox - sounds painful. Maybe a call to your mw or gp to put ypur mind at ease?

Hope everyone and their bumps are doing well. 20+2 here. I have my scan at 21 weeks on Tuesday. Can't wait. Really hope that we stay strong and stay team yellow. I do think I'm having a boy, but who knows. Feeling lots of little movements which is nice and reassuring. But as soon as I put my hand on my bump to have a proper feel, he/she stops. I also finally got DH to take a bump shot at 20 weeks, so will try and upload it. Exciting stuff!

Right, bed. Knackered. Nice quiet play date round my friend's tomorrow. Been a manic week, so looking forward to a relaxing day. Night all x

Good to hear scan went well COMP, and that my boy's not the only one being naughty for the sonographer lol

Miffymoo I'm going to ring midwives tomorrow morning to see what they recommend- have a second meeting with our H&S manager tomorrow to update risk assessment so if they give me advice I can put it on paper.

Had our scan yesterday and all was well with bubs - phew!
I found out the sex and then put it in OH's birthday card which he opened this morning v excited!! We're keeping it a secret from everyone though!!

Hope everyone's enjoying some sun today - it's gorgeous here and I'm lying in the garden with lots of suntan lotion on! I'm olive skinned and never burn really but pregnancy has made my skin so sensitive it goes pink in the sun now! Stocked up on boots soltan half price
