Lozza - re the bump size thing. I'm getting it in the ear constantly from a girl I work with. I'm massive she says..calls me fatty all the time! It's getting on my nerves now. Other people think it's normal sized for this stage but not her! Not even in maternity jeans yet although of course I wear my jeans under my bump with a band on them so I guess I'm cheating saying that but they are done up, the band is just to stop them slipping down!
Not sure what it is about pregnancy that gives people a licence to comment on your bump and where you should and shouldn't be size wise.
Regarding maternity leave, I think I'm going to work up to due date which is crackers but I'm told by my boss that if I declare a date and then feel fit to work, it's tough I have to go off whereas if I say as late a date as possible and can't manage it I can bring it forward so it's kind of made the decision for me!0 -
Lol thankfully noone has called me fat, they only comment in a nice way as they're interested in how baby is doing, I think people are just finding it amazing how much I'm showing already - but I'm on the small side so I guess my bump is going to show sooner and look bigger than perhaps it would for others. I'm loving having a baby bump can't believe how big baby is alreadyAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Bangton, your workmate sounds just lovely! I had to go to work today with the button on my work trousers undone, kind of just pulled the zip up and wore a longer vest top over the top. I can get them buttoned but it is uncomfortable. Time to admit defeat and get some maternity trousers i think!0

I'm going to try and follow the NHS list of things to buy so I don't overbuy. I've just subscribed to which and started reading their guide that they made with NCT too.0

20+2
That isn't so bad, suppose I feel like I shouldn't get too much as we have loads from my first baby. I highly recommend a list I'm a bit of a spreadsheet lover. I had a list of what I wanted, rrp, actual spend then worked out how much I'd saved once I had it all. With having your first they need soo much I think I was still buying bits when I was overdue! I'm just counting down the days until my scan so I know whether I can buy for a boy or girl! I'm still unsure about carrycot.. One in stock! We're still sorting rooms here so could do with keeping it at work but I'm guessing its a huge box!
I'm sure my bump is getting bigger by the day! I'm still wearing normal clothes but a hair tie to give my jeans a bit of slack!Trying to save for a deposit
4000/ 10000 saved so far..0 -

RE: car seats, our council lets you arrange a time to go and try a variety they have bought in your own car. (Wigan)
I had a britax last time but now have tiny fiat500. Not bothered by carseat it's pram in boot that concerns me!0 -
After several weeks of being ok, morning sickness has struck with a vengeance this morning!
We have the Mamas and Papas urbo with the Aton car seat. Bought at less than half price at the bluewater baby show.
Scan is on Thursday and I'm really nervous - we found out that DH's cousin is expecting but they had bad news after the downs screening. So now it's in the back of my mind. Baby is kicking away but I won't relax until we know all is well.
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Aww comp just try and remember the chance of anything being wrong is so slim. Hard to stop worrying though I know xAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
