Yep....
Whilst I have been wearing maternity jeans for about 3 weeks now due to comfort, today the over tummy band wasn't as loose. Noticed this morning that my belly button is now going out of shape, if that makes sense.
Also the past 2 weeks at work people have started with the 'look how your bump has changed' comments at which in my head I'm like 'really, I hadn't noticed' lol. Of course I haven't said that out aloud, yet anyway, hahaha.
I'm 21+2 but yet to feel any movements like you've mentioned. Hubby played music to my tummy on Sunday morning in hope he'd see my tummy move, I was thankful it didn't as it's not my kind of music (Metallica).Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
Welcome vic and congrats on your scan!
continualdiamond, lol at your hubby trying to make the baby a metalhead before it is even borni think when we feel movements can depend on where the placenta has attached so some feel it earlier than others. I'm only just feeling it properly in the last week but still only when sitting/lying in certain positions!

Hi everyone
Welcome to the new people on here, hope everyone is doing well
I'm 24 + 2 now, feeling lots of movement. Popped my ipad onto my bump earlier and watched it moving around! Got a couple of parties/weddings coming up, have dug out a summer maxi dress to wear instead of buying something new, just can't decide if it looks ok or not.
I suppose I should be moving on from this thread at some point soon!!0 -
hi vic3 -nice to see more people working their way up to the next thread
woke up this morning and my belly was a lot flatter, so I'm guessing a lot of my "bump" was due to bloat still!
Exactly 3 weeks till my next scan! Seems like such a long time to wait!!!0 -
Morning ladies,
Lovely to see so many people graduating up but also people who are due near me! I'm not alone :rotfl: (September 5th).
I have had a weird week, I feel too young. I swear all women at the clinics, hospital waiting rooms and on tv who are pregnant are older than me. All the ladies at the nct classes are older and I feel like a naughty teenager being pregnant.
I'm dreading antenatal classes, what if people think I'm not responsible enough to have a baby?
I'm 27 btw so all this is nuts! I just can't believe they will let me be in dual charge of a small person ... For the rest of my life!
On a good note, my friend is rescuing me today, I've been housebound from my hips for weeks and now I'm being collected and treated to lunch at hersyipeeeeeeee. I just hope the cocodamol works well - I'm going to take a proper dose (I'm usually afraid of taking it incase it does harm the baby).

Weird, I usually end to feeling ancient as everyone we've seen waiting for their scan seemed to be less than 21 so we felt a bit out of place, I suppose every area is different though! I think it's natural to worry about pointless things, I keep getting focused on little things that really don't matter that much - I guess we can blame our hormones!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Poppy i have 2 weeks today to wait for my next scan, the anticipation to find out whether baby is pink or blue is killing me! Will you be finding out?0

In the scan waiting room I was the only one without another child and with a jobI know this because they had been bumped infront of me (4hrs delay!) and the receptionist said "well do you have a child to collect?"... When I said "no", I was told that I would therefore have to wait. They were taking people who needed to collect children first. Nevermind me sitting there in agony with my crutches, starving hungry, damned thirsty and paying £1.50 per hour parking.
Once baby gets here I will find someone else who is 27 with no other children and balancing work with motherhood. I feel bad enough that I want to work full time!
Reading the above my hormones are very up and down right now
On a very good note; you should all collect the Emma's diary packs - free pampers wipes! If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -
You're not alone - I'm 27 (well at least until next month) with no other children and working full time
ridiculous making you wait 4 hours, They should still work through the list not bump people ahead!
I got the bounty pack & Emma's diary one and can't remember what free bits we got from each one lol, but got loads of palmers samples which I've been using and haven't needed to buy any yet there was so many inc 2 little bottles.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
