lol, it's really not my day today! Decided to use my tesco clubcard vouchers in the baby and toddler exchange, so get double value. Had checked online earlier and saw the steriliser was £12 at tesco direct so thought that would do...except I clicked on the wrong bit and I can use my vouchers in store only...where it's £16!!! Agh!

How far along were you when you got big purchases (pushchair, car seat, cot etc), or how far along are you planning to be before you get things like that? We haven't bought anything yet, only have the few free samples we've got in a box and vouchers in a folder. Have started to clear out the spare room ready for it being decorated to become the nursery but there's still an awful lot of stuff in there that needs to go!

We have just come back from collecting our crib :j we weren't going to get anything that big until after 20 week scan (am 18+4 today) but we found a brand new NCT bednest on ebay 30% cheaper than the RRP and only a 20 min drive away! Just put it up briefly and it's fab!!

Otherwise we have the hooded towel and little Sudocrem from the Bounty pack, a little cuddly cow from Cow & Gate and a small pack of Huggies nappies. The rest we are definitely leaving until after the 20 week scan which is only a week on Friday anyway! :D

Hope everyone is well, I haven't read back properly yet but will do so now. Congrats to those who have had lovely scans!

Take care ladies and bumps xx

Yeh we're leaving getting things till after the 20 week scan, other than free bits, just interesting to see when others are sorting stuff out - I suppose though its different if its not your first as you already have lots of the stuff you'll need. Once the nursery is decorated then well sort furniture I suppose, and hoping to get the pushchair/car seat about August as I really don't want to leave things till too close to, hopefully everything important will be sorted at least 6 weeks before so when I'm off before baby is here I can just have a rest and not be trying to sort last minute things out. That's the plan anyway lol

    Great news amus!

We are also trying to wait until after the scan to buy anything, but have seen some good bargains and grabbed them anyway. We'll prob wait till summer to get the big stuff like cot and pram

Had a lovely surprise when I got home last night, Dh had ordered a Doppler :D was the first time we've heard winegums heartbeat (I'm 15+4) was pretty easy to find but then I think they were moving about so much we couldn't find it properly again. Was lovely though :) can't believe how well it worked saying as it was only £20 and didn't look like anything fancy!

Has anyone else found they have literally expanded overnight? Yesterday, my work trousers felt fine, today they are digging uncomfortably into my tummy. I dont feel particularly bloated, have felt a lot more kicking/squirming about today though. 18 weeks tomorrow... Is this usually when the uterus moves up a bit?

toothfairy - perhaps you've 'popped'?! I have heard this can literally happen overnight, when your belly turns into a proper bump.
    I'm 17+2 and can't wait!!

I wouldn't say it looks like a 'proper' bump just yet but over the past week it has definitely been more noticeable. I still dont think anyone who doesn't know me would know i was pregnant :(

Hi all, please can I join you? I've graduated from the less than 12 weeks thread and the ttc thread :) I've had my scan this morning and have been dated at 12 weeks.
