I feel like an imposter too! Went to the docs this morning as the pressure hasn't gone and I constantly need to pee... Anyway all the mums in there with their children looked about 10 years older than me (27). Nothing wrong with that I just wonder what they'll have in common with a novice when baby arrives! Came out feeling worried and with antibiotics to treat a UTI!
Going back to maternity bras, I got a two pack last week in M&S and they are so incredibly comfortable! They were £30 but to me money well spent as they are the only ones that don't make me look like cone boobs...0 -
Lol my hospital seems to be full of teenage mums so i feel practically ancient at 25!0

I also feel really young, noticed that everyone else seems older! Didn't help that my midwife commented on my being young and that I was the youngest on her list that day (I'm 26).
Horrendous hip pain, struggling to walk at the minuteHope it goes away.
Lobey, thanks for the maternity bra tip, I need some new ones. Did you get measured or did you know your size? If anyone wears a 32D then M&S have some very cheap ones online http://www.marksandspencer.com/Pack-Maternity-Cotton-Embroidered-Floral/dp/B002PSPMT4?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_2&nodeId=541132031&sr=1-2&qid=1368727434&pf_rd_r=0J1QB1A6TYP7VV382K0F&pf_rd_m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=541132031&pf_rd_p=321381387&pf_rd_s=related-items-30 -
I'm definitely one of the first of my friends to have a baby which makes me feel even less prepared!
NoAngel I didn't get measured as I was in a rush but I know they do fittings there. I guessed a few sizes up from pre-preg and they seem to fit, at least for now!0 -

Lovely to see so many people graduating up but also people who are due near me! I'm not alone :rotfl: (September 5th).
I have had a weird week, I feel too young. I swear all women at the clinics, hospital waiting rooms and on tv who are pregnant are older than me. All the ladies at the nct classes are older and I feel like a naughty teenager being pregnant.
I'm dreading antenatal classes, what if people think I'm not responsible enough to have a baby?
I'm 27 btw so all this is nuts! I just can't believe they will let me be in dual charge of a small person ... For the rest of my life!
.
I was 20 when I fell pregnant with my son, was constantly referred to as a young mum. Had him at 21 and felt like everyone was giving me disapproving stares.
25 this time around and I still feel like this. Probably doesn't help that I can still pass for 18 though. Midwife thinks its hilarious.
I understand the waiting room thing though, everyone seems so much older, my friend at 30 (pregnant also) feels the same :rotfl:0 -

It's a lullaby version of Metallica classics
I'm going to have to tell him about this, wonder what his reaction will be.....
ThanksMummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
I'm 31 and felt sooooo outta place when I had my 20 week scan. My husband met me at the hospital and was the only male. The other ladies had either a female relative or friend with them with other children in toe as well.
I sat eating my lunch and wearing my work uniform.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -

Same here 21 when I had my first, 24 when I had my second and am now 27 having my third.
When I went getting a bra fitted with my first the lady doing the fitting told my mum she would have to come in with me as I was under 16! When I go out shopping with my mum she gets really annoyed as people look at me with disapproving stares out with my mum, two kids in tow and a pregnant belly and assume I'm a young, jobless single mother, which couldn't be further from the truth. Doesn't bother me though, if people want to make incorrect assumptions that's their problem!0 -
You're not alone - I'm 27 (well at least until next month) with no other children and working full time
ridiculous making you wait 4 hours, They should still work through the list not bump people ahead!
I got the bounty pack & Emma's diary one and can't remember what free bits we got from each one lol, but got loads of palmers samples which I've been using and haven't needed to buy any yet there was so many inc 2 little bottles.
I thought the Emma's diary packs were the bounty packs? If not where can I pick up a bounty pack!0 -

Wow, I am so pleased I shared how I was feeling. I thought I was going a little mad.
UTI can be really bad in pregnancy, watch out for worsening symptoms. I hope it goes away really soon!
I got my bounty pack from the voucher in my bounty pack from the midwife. There is then one once its born and another after that.
Emma's diary have three - sign up, print vouchers and collect from Argos/boots. I've got loads and loads of palmers stuff, I could open a book and palmers shop offering advice on which books are best for which symptoms and in what week!If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0
