  • Sequeena - Yeah it seems some hospitals are more open to telling you than others, don't understand why it's such it a hassle for them to tell you if you want to know. Didn't feel it was appropriate to ask as he was obviously checking to make sure the baby was ok and it was already difficult with the baby's position, so fingers crossed maybe next time.

Just ordered pair of maternity jeans from next, I've been using a button belt from ebay but clothes are starting to get too uncomfortable and that's on top of already going up a size. Got fitted in m&s couple weeks ago for new underwear and I swear I need bigger ones again! I need to stop growing it's far too expensive.

Good luck tmrw seqeena and harieta

i know alot of hospitals have stopped telling the sex, due to mistakes can be made. and i guess it only take for one person to sue and then it opens a whole can of worms.

I knew one lady who was told she was having a boy, so sold her two bed house, bought bigger house as she already had a girl, bought everything blue to give birth and it be a girl.

Well nothing new to really report from me 18 weeks today. baby kicking loads. getting loads of tightening when baby moves. which only mums who have had other babies will prob understand. i love it . it like my whole belly goes really firm and the movements feel really slow like everything inside is moving. it uncomfy but not painful uncomfy.

i've got my 16 week a/n this week , which i forgot to have at 16 weeks, so having at 18 +4 instead :rotfl:don't think it gonna really make much difference tho.

but i'm feeling great, had a great day with family down at beach today. did bowling, air hockey, beach walk, ice cream, bike riding, played loads of 2p machines :D, tried to win teddies out the machines ( but the grippers are so riggered so they never grab anything) all the kids fell asleep in car on way home, and a chip supper for tea. so a very lazy , chilled out family day. bring on spring and summer with the gorgeous weather we've had today.

Hope everyone else bumps are well , and everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Hi girlies, long time no post . . . . again! Naughty DL!

Not much to report really, currently counting down to tge 1st April. One thing, I started feeling mini flips inside but I haven't now for about 4 days, my spots have calmed down and I no longer feel tge need to eat like a horse - is that normal or should I worry?

Anyway, good luck with any scans coming up and happy Monday to you all x

DL - You are the same as me - AGAIN :rotfl:I was feeling flutters every evening last week but since Friday have not really felt any. I was wondering if this was normal too - I guess/hope it must be.

    (I'm still hungry though:D)

Some hospitals also won't tell you the sex even if you ask due to the high immigrant population in some areas that would terminate a healthy girl in favour of trying for a boy.

Doglover that happened to me. Don't worry I was frantically searching for baby with the doppler every night! Im getting lots of established kicks now - suprising how low down they are though - I always imagined they would be more in the belly button area.

My hospital don't ask you if you want to know the sex but they will tell you if you ask.

Thanks Apicot, it's always good to get reassurance from someone who's been there. How are you doing now?

Im good thanks! Bump is definitely there now - it's finally obvious that im pregnant which is nice although a couple of people have commented that I will be huge by July! :p They're only jealous!

Have bought a few pink things but still keep calling bump "it" rather than "she" - can't get used to that one!

Are you finding out the flavour at your next scan?:D
