Mmmmm. Fish fingers, rice, peas and mayonnaise sounds lovely at the moment.

This week I thought I had loads more energy but then have been shattered today. Went to bed a 9 last night and woke up nice and early (for me) this morning at 8, had breakfast and then got back in bed to check on here on my phone and the next thing I knew it was 11.30. Oops. Was going to paint the spare room today but all I've managed to do so far is buy a tin of paint.

    Hi again,

I haven't been on since my scan as I am ill with a viral infection (doctors description, seems like flu to me) so I am on bed rest..how boring.

My scan went great, and Sessy is a healthy little girl :female: ! Everybody is over excited as thats the news they were hoping for. We've since gone crazy and started buying something everyday!

Just a quick question, has anybody bought from Bambino Direct within the last 6 months or so...they're the cheapest online for the pushchair we're after but after doing a bit of research online, I can only find negative reviews of the store but on the other hand they're quite old reviews, so anyway, has anybody got a story for me?? Would love to be able to place the order with piece of mind

Oh and another thought, anybody know how I can get hold of my MATB1 form? I need it for work so I can sort out leave, I never got it from the hospital, my GP said Midwife at hospital should have given it to me and I'm not going to see either the midwife at my GP or at the hospital for another 6 weeks!

    Congrats on your girl!

I think you can get the forms from either your employer or your midwife. I'm not sure as I'm not the worker in the relationship :)

I'm having chips and cheese tonight yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum oh and some crisps LOL

    Welcome Skint Catt and Mirror!

Sessy I think only the midwife can give it to you, should be fine in 6 weeks time when you next see her.

Pookie, Apricot & Tw1light hope you feel better soon and get some energy - I was shopping for a bit (had to get a Krispy Kreme filled doughnut for energy, then a snickers/banana and toffee shake to wash it down :D), a bit of gardening in the sun, and am now showered and shattered too :o but nice to see enjoy some sunbeams at least.

Got the paints I needed as Homebase had 20% off decorating today, so a nice mediterranean blue for garden bench/table etc, cream for dining room wall and a white Farrow & Ball paint for chairs I need to finish... that will be the next 18 weekends before bubs comes sorted then :rotfl:

Have eaten badly today so tomorrow has to be better. We will have spag bol for dinner and was thinking of having half a glass of red wine tonight as have only had 1 small glass of white wine this year - is anyone else having the occasional drink?

I've not had a drink yet, I was going to at 15 weeks then had my bleed so have been concentrating on my fluid levels, but I'm meant to be going out in the next few weeks so think I'll have either a glass of rose or a spritzer :) I know kopparberg do non alcoholic versions of their cider so yay for that :D

i'm 16 weeks today and until i the day i found out i was expecting i used to drink everyday, more than what i should too :o----but now even the thought of a drink makes me feel sicky, i did buy half a lager today, had one sip and had to give it to the other half, i just couldnt stomach it, roll on christmas :D
and also, i'm also tired 24/7. i am actually up quite late tonight at 8.53pm,:p
    Skint, but happy (ish):p
  • I found out yesterday that they didn't remove all the breast tissue when I had my mastectomy 4 years ago so I still need to have annual mammograms as the cancer can still come back & usually does within 3 years.

Not what you want to hear when you are pregnant at all & i'm going to have to have a mammogram after baby is born.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
