Where did you get your pillow from? I'm finding it hard to sleep at the mo as I'm finding it tough to sleep on my side. My tum is uber sore and has been for a week or so now. I have to be sooooo careful when standing up otherwise I get stabby pains. I keep reminding myself that it will all be worth it in the end.

    Argos. It's lovely

That's the reason I got it, had an awful uncomfortable night last night from growing and stretchy pains. Nurse friend said a hormone will kick in soon that makes body tolerate all the growing better so that's reassuring.

I had one of those maternity pillows last time, but it's currently being used as a crash mat next to DS's cot bed as we've taken the side off! I think I'll try to get another while they're on sale as they do make sleeping more comfy in the later stages :)

Ah, the nearest Argos that has them in stock is 20-odd miles away :( I think my current one came from Lidl and was about the same price. They did seem to get them in every so often, so I'll keep a look out there.

Evening ladies, just wanted to say thank you all and goodbye for a little while as I'll be moving up to the next thread - look forward to you joining us there in some weeks time. I will likely still lurk here for a while.
Saw the mw today for my 24 week appt and baby is growing well, measuring just right, heart rate strong and steady and plenty of movements! Baby kept kicking and moving away from the doppler - hehe
I think I actually believe now that this time I will have my take home baby.

May the coming weeks be kind to you all and look forward to seeing you all in the next thread

    take care
    Saf xx

I got my 20 week scan date, so exciting. Nausea is starting to settle so just hope it stays that way when I go back to work.

I'll be 20+2 with mine, six weeks to go.

Keep checking, the website said it was out of stock for me but then the iphone app showed that it was in!

Snap! Mine is the week after at 19+1 - can't wait to find out what it is (hopefully!). I tried to get a pillow also but my nearest in stock is 40 miles away - so will keep checking - thanks for the advice Sparkles. If I can't get one I might just build a "nest" of pillows around me - a friend told me thats what she had done!

Been listening on the doppler - my goodness theres some weird sounds going on - and thankfully a heartbeat too - absolutely facinating although it does move around quite a bit!

I have a MW appointment tomorrow and I am dreading work next week - leg still keeps going numb after I stand for more than 10 mins - and work still don't know that I am pg!

Have you all got your 2nd Bounty packs? I also signed up to Emma's Diary and got another pack from them - its better than the Bounty pack and you can get it from Argos as well as Boots! (better freebies!)

I signed up to Emma's diary but how do you get the pack voucher? I got my 2nd Bounty pack at my 12 week scan - the simple moisturiser has been a godsend with my hand having been in dressing which has dried my skin out so much!
  • Hi everyone, not been one in ages. Speaking of the bounty pack, Must get the 2nd pack as i got my first at my scan and i think i can collect the other one in boots? Must double check that. Thanks for tip about the maternity pillow sparkles, i don't need it just yet but will one for further down the line. Im 15weeks tomorrow, can't believe it. Scan in 5weeks time. What happens at the 16 week midwife appt? Got mine next wed, i know they check heartbeat but do they check urine and bp?

There is a link directly in the emails you get - or its on the site when you log in - once you log in and it says how many weeks you are, halfway down the page it has a link and then you just print off a PDF - it has a code on it and you can just order it like you do any other product in Argos and wait for it in store.
