You can tell them now hun but I don't think it makes any difference until the baby is born, it didn't with me anyway and then they ask to see a copy of MATB1 and when baby is born if you get housing benefit they ask for birth certificate. xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Thank you. It's just so confusing. I'd rather wait until after my 20 week scan just to make sure everything is okay but I wasn't sure if there was a set time that you had to tell them by.
It isn't very clear!2019 Wins

I know chick there's no set guidlines at all.... think everywhere is different but i've been told by two different boroughs you need to give them a copy of MATB1 and you get that at 25 weeks.
Have you looked into healthy starts vouchers and if your entitled to a surestart grant? xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Thank you.
I have. We are entitled to the Surestart grant because we're on IS and this is our first child and we're eligible for the healthy start vouchers as far as I can tell from what I read on the website.

yes, all the time! I have to tense everything up or it's really sore whenever I sneeze or cough. It's the ligaments that support your uterus stretching, i think.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Moneypenny & LittleMoog, haven't had any of that but did manage to twinge/pull/something a muscle quite high up on my ribcage while moving stuf around the other day, which is unusual for me. Just everything relaxing, expanding and moving about I reckon!0

It's completely normal - I get it all the time if I cough or sneeze violently moneypenny - it's just ligaments stretching.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

I get this too, thankfully don't suffer from hayfever so not too bad. I am ok if I know I am going to sneeze and can tense everything however if I am taken unaware I need to hot foot to the bathroom too which isn't easy.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
