Student_Mrs wrote: »:hello: I am back from visiting my dad in Asia! It was awful being without my husband (he had to stay here for some foul uni work which he is out doing again today) but I kept up to date with you all and the pregnancy thread. but now can't remember what was said!
As for me, I'm 22 weeks today and our re-arranged anomaly scan is tomorrow. I will only wee once in the morning for my sample pot if I can find it, walk to the hospital, eat skittles like mishka recommended and hope it means that we will get a responsive baby who doesn't want to stay curled up head down... I'm really nervous about it now, and it's not helping with an assignment I have due Friday, meh. Felt kicks getting stronger whilst away though and something about flying gave me a definite bump - mega embarassing when an old Chinese lady got up to give me her train seat but I was knackered so took it. Looking at bump pics on babycentre though, I still don't look too bumpy until end of the day but baby feels harder in my tum if that makes sense.
When I look at pregnancy club group page, their list is so neat but they are missing a lot of us August due dates! If our scan goes well, we may introduce ourselves more
I'm feeling really stressed today and worried about money and was soooo emotional on the plane ride back - full on tears at simple chick flicks- blimey... Also feeling more tired, thought we were meant to have more energy in this trimester? Not sure if that was just cus it was Easterhols though.
Was someone on here or babycentre talking about moving? We'll be moving from a shared house to a lovely 4 bed house in June which I am looking forward to but have realised how close it is and how unprepared we are  Means no nursery furniture/decoration until my third trimester too, oopsie.
Anyway, can you tell from my ramble I've missed you all?!
 welcome back !
hope the skittles trick works for you tomorrowBow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
Welcome home student mrs. I was just thinking about you and wondering when you would be back. Did you manage to get a scan in China too? Shame your husband has so much to do at uni. Hope everything goes well at your uk scan. I went onto the pregnancy thread at the same time thread and everyone is lovely on there. Don't be scared. Hope all goes well with your assignment.
We have our anomaly scan on 26th April so not long to go. I will only be 18+4 when I have it. Will make the time in between seem really long I expect, unless they choose to give me any extra scans later in the pregnancy.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Thanks sexym, always nice to be thought of
and your scan next week, yay. Wasn't ever planning on getting one in China, was a typo, I try my best to get all appointments when hubby can come, we were offered a scan today but had to turn it down for his course. Just not sure if we will have another little one so it's nice to go through it all together.
I have still done no more on assignment, yawn! It's the last big one and then just have to worry about folders and possibly one more observation as all teaching hours are done. Can't help but feel it is all a bit meh, as it is last term. I know I will enjoy it once I'm back teaching but can't help but feel a bit sleepy at the mo! Was that how your PGCE went?

Student u don't see your midwife tomorrow it's just the scan so u don't need to wee in your bottle. Glad to see u back. Yes I'm also moving although not till I finished Uni which is 25th July! Talk about last minute. Don't even have a house or location yet lol. Good luck for tomorrow.love you lots like jelly tots0

And just when I'll be near you in the bit nr Newport Rd that isn't Roath! Last time I was going to see a midwife which is why I thought I see one again as didn't see her? Once the scan is done in radiology, I thought you went back around to antenatal clinic, do they just wave you off then? Do I really not see a midwife again until 25 weeks then? Hmm, thanks for letting me know

It depends Student hun, after my 20 week scan I will be seeing a consultant so need to take a pee sample. xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Yeah they sent me round to Antenatel with piece of paper and sent me on my way!! Haha bit near Newport road. I could still be here but hopefully not. I don't see midwife till 28 weeks
lucky this wee man is quite rough so I know he ok lol

Yeah, I'm such a snob and would rather not be in the whole area - the local park was on the border of Tremorfa! but its a great 4 bed house being rented through a friend that our budget wouldnt get us anything near otherwise.
I feel more secure having some movements and being more rounded bump but still get paranoid! Hope I'm not going to be too much of an overprotective wreck of a mum... Is your daughter loving mummy with bump?
Thanks ikkle, will try and find the pee bottle but hubby has tidied up so nicely since I was away, it may be in a binxx

sharing this, robbed from the ttc thread:-
Just saw this on ttc thread - I get my vitamins free in Wales but good of Asda and apparently their baby event starts Monday which is lots of reduced things so maybe it ties in!
http://your.asda.com/news-and-blogs/asda-pharmacies-to-offer-free-folic-acid-for-pregnant-women bit embarassing though as I only look pregnant in tighter clothes and I have just started to get a rounder bump but maybe if I take my free nappies voucher i got for joining their baby club, they'll figure it out!! [just realised i put wrong link in less than 12 weeks pregnant - oops!]
