lol u mad woman - i got mine in the asda baby events packs of 12 for £5
just be careful because i found they were ok for my daughter but some other brands really irritated her skin and you dont want to be stuck with 70 unusable packs cos your baby is sensitive - she can use pamapers sensitive ok but no other pampers or johnsons - just these and huggies pure
Well they are sensitive so fingers crossed! If not I'll just have to ebay them.

Hi everyone,
I got my new maternity bras today from mothercare and they're fab- really comfortable and supportive. I had bought some from matalan but found them really uncomfy. The ones I got are in the sale for £11 each, and there's a 10% off code- 2UPN.Don't suffer alone - if you are experiencing Domestic Abuse contact the National Domestic Abuse Helplines

I have heard a rumour (not sure if it is true - from another forum) that 111 mothercare stores are closing over the next 3 years.
Last year the Mothercare where my mum lives closed and I managed to get get breatfeeding tops for £2.50 each. I had already bought one from another store for £15.
Would be interested to know if anyone else has heard anything.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

i saw the shoreditch cot liked that one

Just lurking (17 +2) but wanted to come on and say that we have two of the Henley cotbeds (in Natural), for my now 5yr old and almost 4yr old and they both still look great. They're obviously converted to 'toddler' beds now, and the 5yr old has less room than looks ideal, but she likes to curl up and nest, and she'll go into a regular single bed in time for this one to have the cotbed back as a cot.
My point is that it's been a great piece of furniture, well worth the money and I'd highly recommend it. After 5 years of use, even the oldest one looks almost new!0 -

Heard the same on the news yesterday. I think most of the stores affected (75) will be ELCs though, not Mothercares.
More bump news... got measured again yesterday and bump is now exactly on the 50th percentile so feeling happier. Basically I have a large abdominal scar at the top of my bump (between belly button and boobs) and it makes it difficult at the moment for the midwife to find the top of my womb. She's feeling for the edge of something hard, but my scar tissue underneath the skin is hard too so she's not sure what's she's feeling. Probably the baby's botty.
