Got my scan tomorrow and can't wait
my OH not make it though as he went offshore yesterday but I can email him the pictures. I'm hoping my mum can come but she's got a meeting a fair distance away but hopefully can get back in time. Does anyone know how many people you can take in with you as my dad would be delighted if he could come in too?

Good luck Scottishchick, at one of my appointments I took OH and my sister, think it depends on different hospitals however no harm in giving it a whirl.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Hope you have a lovely scan scottishchick. I think at my hospital you can only have one person with you as the room is quite small, but it won't hurt to ask.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Hi hun, i've seen two people going into the scan room with a lady at my local maternity unit.....i'm sure if you give them a call and ask they'd be able to advise you xSome people create their own storms....then get upset when it rains!0

Hope everyone is having a great weekend? I'm less stressed than I should be - my car died on me yesterday and it's looking like it could be a timing belt issue which I'm told is expensive. It will dip into the savings we have for when my maternity pay goes down to zero, but I'm hoping we can make it back up somehow. It's not the right thing to say on MSE I know, but at the end of the day it's only money. It went when I was doing 5 mph in a car park- could have gone on the motorway and hurt baby H badly.
In TMI news, have got rock solid boobs and ouchy nipples- even the shower spray made them hurt!
To make up for sore boobs I am going to have a steak that is a tiny bit pinker than it should be and a tiny glass of red wine. MW said it is fine as long as I feel fine... so big treat night tonight!
Good grief I ramble on here- sorry. I'm trying not to bore everyone in my RL with pregnancy related chat, so lots of it ends up online I'm afraid!Don't suffer alone - if you are experiencing Domestic Abuse contact the National Domestic Abuse Helplines

Thanks everyone, went for my scan yesterday but my dad just dropped my mum off and left so didn't get a chance to ask him if he wanted to come in too. It was a shame really as there was room. The scan went well, the scan lady said that the fluid on the back of baby's neck looked ok so that was a bit of reassurance. Everything else looked fine but she put me back 2 days so I'm 13 weeks exactly today. Another 8 weeks till the next scan though which is rubbish lol.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

Congrats Scottishchick, glad it went well. Hopefully the next 8 weeks will go quickly too. I only have 4 weeks until the next scan and it seems sooo long to go.
