Ooh laura how exciting, what's the cot you are after? I'm 18+2 and have 20 week scan in 2 weeks then will be cot shopping properly. Have found a few nice white ones in babies r us, the tuscany and shoreditch I like. Then it's the minefield of pushchairs!

its the henley cot/bed, with all the basics, teething rail, 3 height positions and a drop side. they do a jungle deal where you get that cot (£140), pack of bedding (£54) changing mat (£10) and foam mattress (£50) for £199 - waiting for everything to be in stock then will order

i saw the shoreditch cot liked that one :)

we took my 18 month nephew with him and had to pull him away from toys crying.

the joys of pregnancy - constipation today so plenty of water and fibre for me and taking lots of vit C as this softens stools

also breasts are leaking more.........is anyone wearing breast pads in their bras yet? I am 24 weeks pregnant tomorrow

just wondering has anyone used the washable version of breast pads? saw them in mothercare and might give them a go as a better eco alternative than disposible ones

didnt get any eggs but made choc rice krispie cakes yeterday so have been munching these

Ahh yes I've seen that offer, went and looked at that too. but I'm not keen on the jungle theme as I have my heart set on some cream bedding from Next and the jungle theme just wouldn't go! Plus I wanted to get a different mattress. I do love that cotbed too. I really want the Winnie the Pooh one or the I Love My Bear one but both are far more expensive and neither come in white. Gosh, it's such a nightmare!

Ooh thanks for the tip on the Henley cotbed deal Laura - I've had a quick look now I'm not on my phone, and it looks ideal for us - we'd be going for the white one. The spare room is currently a white and lime green theme, so we won't need to redecorate either.:money:
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

That would definitely fit with your colour scheme then!

I want things to match but don't know where to start. Pretty sure it will end up being a mish mash!

its frustrating that only mothercase and H&M sell maternity clothes in store in peterborough, i wanted a pair of over the bump trousers, got some black linen ones from mothercare in the end for £22

just a note if you spend £10 in H&M at the moment you get a £5 off next purchase so handy if you are buying mat clothes

also 20% off at clarks online, only until tomorrow though i think

24 weeks today, so moving over the next thread, hope to see you ladies over there soon :)
