Pleased it went well with the midwife Rebekah, and I hope the exercises help relieve the pains. Pleased to see you took the plunge and joined us on the other thread too.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Hi all

We got our results to say we are low risk for Down Syndome. Our risk was calculated as one in 5,100, which seems pretty low. Our nuchal measurement was 1.4

    Do these sound normal?

I hate googling this kind of thing because you always find something you didn’t want to!

    Thanks

if i remember rightly its anything under 1 in 150 is high risk and 2.2mm for the nuchal,

sounds right to me, if they've told you its right - its right ;)

    Moneypuddle,

With the boys my risk was 1:27,000 this time it is 1:6,200.

It took me ages to persuade OH that it was still low risk. There are plenty of things to worry about, this isn't one of them. :D

Hi folks, my wife is 21 weeks pregnant and is getting increasingly sore backs. Can any of you recommend a back support product that I can buy that may help her out?
    Thanks in advance

my upper back ache started around 20 weeks too. am coping with the pain at the moment just using fisocrem which helps a bit, i dont want to end up taking paracetamol all the time (thats what the doctor recommended)

if its upper back pain getting the right bra is also important, i have ended up wearing a sports bra as all other bras are too painful
