And their clothes are too. If I walk past one more pink thing with flowers and bows all over it, I'll vom.

Ooh, I prefer the girls clothes but boys toys. So which ever we have I will have fun buying stuff :D

Although when I imagine a teenage girl it fills me with fear. Teenage boys I think I could manage.
I'm not looking forward to mine. I'm not very sociable at the best of times and pregnancy's made me even more insular. I'm quite happy pottering around at home with the phone off the hook!

What with my wonderful baby book, the great advice and support on here, a lovely midwife, and OBEM, I'm not sure what else antenatal classes can teach me :D

I went along to one class which was pointless, scared me more than helped. I still managed to give birth despite missing the rest of the classes.

I really didn't need to hear about the 3 stages of tearing, as if I wasn't worried enough. (btw, I had no tearing so the worry was for nothing)

AFM: Had a nurse round this morning for tests (getting new life insurance so they needed to test a few things)

Apparently I have increased Leukocytes in my urine which I will check with my midwife although everything else was within normal ranges. Plus I have lost 4.5kg in the last 6weeks (this is a good thing) :j:j

Pleased to hear that everything appears to be normal mishka - will keep my fingers crossed for 2-3 days time for your results of the amnio.

Hope all exams and interviews are going/have gone well. Sorry I missed wishing you luck beforehand.

Rebekah the ladies on the main pregnacy thread are great - I joined there as well as this thread when I'd had my first scan. The thread moves very fast though, so be prepared to have a lot of catching up if you don't go on for a day. emsbet is over there too, and I expect you'll recognise a few others from ttc as well.

Well I'll add myself to the list in my next post, as I wasn't aware that there was one on this thread.

Good luck to everyone having scans and tests.

    Ptkloon,

Last time I bought a bump support from mothercare that really helped my back.

    Thanks for that,

    Is it this one?

It was this one, we had vouchers which is why we splashed the cash but it did help. I wasn't able to walk before we got it and this held me together so I could move around the house and have some form of normality.

All well at midwife today. Has given me some exercises to do for sore hips, backache and my buttock pain! If these don't help she will refer me for physio. Sounds scary lol.
