had my second scan today at 20+2 weeks - everything was completely fine - no abnormalities nothing
yay! was getting a little nervous before going in as mr lumb the consultant was running half an hour late. he was really thorough with the scan and was explaining everything to a student who sat in as well. got one picture which was rubbish but it doesnt matter is baby is healthy. saw hands and feet really clearly, profile of baby, baby swallowing, spine etc
didnt find out sex - wont know till another 20 weeks
i think its Mrs Excited next for scan on friday, so all the best, keep us informed.

Aww jedi, when I saw your name pop up and someone said you had scan, I was expecting to see the gender!!
exciting no anomalies now and you are half way through?! bit scary isn't it!
I'm 17 weeks today I think and had some odd belly pains. When the MW found baby heartbeat last week the doppler was very low down but still not felt movements, even down there. I don't know what this popping means though!!
(((hugs to all)))

I only get kicks near my belly button. I don't think I ever felt a kick low down so I'm hoping my baby just likes being upside down. It was upside down during the 20wk scan and refused to move.0

Hi Guys,
It looks like I have to progress up the threads as I am now 13weeks. Still in denial and pretending it isn't happening. Next scan is at 16weeks when we will hopefully find out the gender however If I have to guess I would say girl.
This will be my third, due 22/09 although looking to be induced at 37weeks (01/09) with midwife/consultant and counsellors support.
I have only read back a couple of pages but hope to catch up quick.

It's not the hormone onslaught of the first trimester but I can still find myself getting incredibly emotional. Just been to see the midwife. When she was listening to my tum she kept saying 'lovely lovely', and told me I had a really happy baby.

Lol. I went to the doctor for emergency appointment. She told me to come back in two hours and I started crying. Also started crying when boyfriend didn't text me for an afternoon when I knew he was at work. I'm a bundle of nerves and hormoneslove you lots like jelly tots0

I'm going to the doctors tomorrow. I feel awful, I think I have this viral bug that's been doing the rounds at school. I've been off all week but appear to be getting worse rather than better.
Sinus issues, phlemy, EVIL headache today that will NOT go. I have a lung disease as well so if I get ill on my chest they are going to move my pregnancy to a high risk one. It makes me nervous about going tomorrow. But I can't get rid of this headache so I'm going to have to go. Don't fancy leaving it over the weekend.
My DH also pointed out today that he thinks I'm getting stretch marks round my belly button. I'm only 14+3...this is not happening!!!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
